I get manning broke the record but how can he be rated higher than luck and rivers when they're having the better years. Doesn't make sense to me.

What season are you looking at? lol Peyton is clearly having a better year. Best passer rating in the league.

I take into account who has less and more to work with. Manning easily has better players at every position.

I don't get the Manning increase either. Reason being Peyton is doing about what was expected. If his original rating was due to his performance last year, how in the hell could you justify a bump? He is not playing better nor is he exceeding expectations.

Don't misunderstand, I don't completely disagree with him being a 99, I am only wondering why he wasn't originally.

I am also beginning to think Sherman deserves a drop. He has been performing below expectations.

When it comes down to it though I think JJ should be the only player rated 99.
And they need to show more love to Jimmy Smith. Yeah just about every week has given him a +1 increase, but he should be north of 90 right now

Not sure about last game, but Dez has 2 catches for 36 yards against him. Pretty good imo

PFF has him as the 17th rated CB in pass coverage right now.

Giving up completions on 52% of targets with a average of 16 yards per catch. QBs have a 94.7 QB rating when throwing at him.

Don't know how much stock you put into PFF numbers but top 4 are:
1.Vontae 35.2 QB rating 12.4 avg ypc
2. Flowers 66.9 13.4
3. Chis Harris 33.5 8.4
4. Jimmy Smith 51.5 8.2

Edit: sherman does have the fewest targets of CBs playing at least 75% of their team's snaps.
In case you are wondering, Johnathan Joseph has the most (57) and QBs have a 107 QB rating against him

I would certainly think that with all the overrating in Madden ratings that a guy that just had the greatest statistical season a qb ever had would be a 99 from the start and considering he's still playing better than anybody should still be there.

Watt deserves a 99 and Rodgers probably at least a 98.Sherman could probably drop a couple of points but it wouldn't be proper etiquette to drop the cover boy.

Manning was a 99 at the start, dropped to 98 this season idk why, and now back up.

can't believe Donny still has james brown on the browns he hasent been on team since pre season we have guys on our PS he could replace him with but I guess he wants inaccurate rosters.

Zac Stacy should be on the 'going down' list.

# 13 raiderphantom @ 10/25/14 05:44 AM
Donny's ratings have been good recently, but these changes are a bit questionable to me. For ex. Will Beatty is having a HUGE bounce back year.
