The news about master league is a bit disappointing. Would have liked to see a more polished experience. They just seem so stuck in the past with a lot of their game design direction. They need to bring in some senior producers who can infuse fresh ideas.

Menus look 100 times better in the startup screen but look almost the same once you vet into master league (just a different color scheme).

Thankfully everyone is raving about the gameplay this year so in the end, that's going to be the biggest determination of fun factor.

Welp guys Master League looks bare bones this year
honestly not surprised looks like I will only be touching Be A Legend mode.

Awful news about the next gen option files, but no surprise really, as this info has been floating around for awhile. I'll still be getting the game, I'm just a PES junkie, but it really sours the experience knowing I'll have shoddy kits and emblems for the BPL. Unbelievable that this "next gen" technology won't support something so simple as storing images or sharing game files. I've been very, very happy with my PS4, but this is a bummer.

Well that is disappointing, ML has felt like a season mode that I can find on a 32-bit cartridge. Unfortunately, offline season modes are all I normally play.

I'll end up getting this regardless because I love PES, but the stadium situation bothers me. I really wish they'd release some more information regarding the stadium edit/creator.

I absolutely hate the generic stadiums PES always has.

I'll just spend my time in BAL. I guess the mode changes come next year since gameplay was the focus this year...at least they better.

Somewhat disappointed in the news we received today. Only 11 stadiums on the PS4, very few other European teams so why bother with Champions and Europa League, and Master League looks exactly the same as last year, menus and all. Hope we get some better news before the release like more teams and stadiums, info on editing, and how well the online modes work. It'll be a shame for another game (NHL 15) to waste good gameplay with nothing else to go along with it.

I wish they'd at least create more realistic fictional (non-licensed) teams and players. I know in the past all the non-licensed teams had the same kits just with different colors, and then the fake players had these really unusual names as if someone just mashed a keyboard to type them in.

Not sure if any of that has changed this year, but think about it, if they did do it the same way this year then you will have to edit all of it yourself or else be stuck with Bruyberoyu (just mashed that in) as your star attacking midfielder who plays for your team that has pretty much the same kit as the rest of the league just different colors.

That being said, still waiting on fouls. If and when I see more fouls I will be sold on the game.

Not a great day for PES. At the point regardless of the gameplay I'll probably skip it until the rest of the game is up to snuff.

Those videos are not very promising. I went from excited to passing on PES. Just can't justify these companies stripping their games down then charging full price.

If you notice in the big leauges that aren't licensed (pretty much just premier league) all the players names and faces and everything are perfect. just the kits and team names are different. cant edit kits but they looked decent enough to me and editing the team names is easy enough

If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to edit kits as well without option files just like last year. Teams with basic kits you can get spot on while teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham, may be a little off as far as all the designs are concerned. If you're an artist, you can even draw the team logos in game. The only thing that that you can't add are sponsers and kit brand logos like Nike, Adidas etc.

Can't believe that Master League is the same from the previous year; a dull, bad and barebones mode that desperately need an overhaul; guess the Master League infos was false after all.
I really was interested in this game, loved the demo and how it plays but I can't play just quick games because the modes are lacking, guess I'll have to wait until next year.

I've seen some of those in the preview code videos Ermoli:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKBO...7ohbdA4tulgvPw

You can see Team Trust Level - at the main screen in ML

Add a player in transfer negotiations/release clauses/goal & appearance bonuses - ~7:30 mark

A lot of the stuff on that list seems like end of the year activities which the guy didn't sim too.

I was looking forward to the ps4 version because the gameplay is excellent for me. The lack of some editing features and option files is a huge letdown. The pc version is not looking too good either. Probably gonna just have to go with the ps3 version, though it just doesn't feel as smooth as next gen

Presentation is no PES love child.

PES 2015 will please a lot of those old die hard PES fanatics like me. For me, like most of you, the gameplay is essential and miles ahead of the other competitor.

Unfortunately, these presentations will fail to attract new users. Master League in all it's 2002 glory is probably enough for me, but the presentation is straight out of PS2 days if not PS1.

By the way: I will love to crawl into the edit mode and fix almost all names and kits. The lack of the Bundesliga is not Konamis but the Bundesliga's fault (exclusive licensing to EA).

I heard you can't create your own stadium, just banners and grass patterns and seat colors on the generic stadiums. I don't mind the generic kits and fictional teams, as I enjoy creating my own uniforms and sponsors etc... but this total lack of stadiums is a no buy for me. I assumed I could create relatively different stadiums like on older PES versions, but this news has made me hold off on buying. Is it really that difficult to create random generic stadiums? You don't really have to change that much, just a slight difference is good enough. But I can't play like the French League leagues 1 and 2 if basically four different teams will play in the same stadium. Rediculous. No longer a must purchase.

Regarding game modes...

During PES's glory days, I had such great time playing various tournaments such as World cup, Euro cup and Champions league. For each tournament, I would challenge the game mode again and again with various teams until I win the cup.

I haven't heard exclusion of this game mode so I'm very excited.

Master league will be master league and I will go through it with few teams as well. I think league with second division is big improvement.

It will be loads of fun until 2016.
