I recommend staying away from the patch until others provide feedback about the hidden gameplay changes. First rumours:
- Game has been slowed down (that's good)
- We're back to FIFA 14 headers (that's extremely bad)

That's extremely disappointing to hear.

I'm interested to know what "slowed down" means. Literally the speed of the game, and players. Or the speed and pace of how teams attack and go about their business on the field.

Because we can change how fast players move with sliders. What we can't do yet (even with custom tactics) is slow teams down so they don't always look for a forward pass. Even when they pass lateral, it's mostly forward.

alot of people will be trading this in for pro evo with the amount of bugs it has..

It doesn't surprise me. If it doesn't affect the online experience, it's not a concern. I mean no offense to online players, but from the multiple youtube videos I've seen - they don't realize that marking in this game is man to man (like a set piece) when it should be zonal. That's all there is to it. That's the only fix. If that is taken care of, everything else will fall into place.

Bingo! For the first time ever, I'm actually going to give PES a try.

fidel's ini makes it not really matter though right? or does the ini not effect certain things from the patch... at least not until he has time to adjust it?

i dont even know if my EA patch got downloaded, i went into origin and clicked on get updates but it said it was up to date, but i never saw it downloading...

Delete the ini and try again.
There are no hidden gameplay changes in the update afaik. Maybe some better GK positioning and the shooting velocity seems better but it's hard to tell. I'm using now ver.2.2 cl.ini and everything's just fine. I even play more this one than the new NBA2k15 in my pc!

I would like to see more camera angles... The camera angles in PES are better in my opinion.
