WWE 2K15's MyCAREER Mode Details

The WWE games series for the past 2 years have had a single player story mode consisting of reliving the past of the Attitude era or playing through the greatest Wrestlemania matches of all-time. This year, 2K Sports is changing up the game and having a “My Player” mode called My Career, where your created wrestler takes on the rigors of the WWE.

Sounds great. Been waiting for such an in-depth career mode in a WWE game for a long tine.

About what I expected, so I'm definitely pumped for this. The limited options for creating a wrestler kind of sucks but I would expect that in their first iteration on the next-gen consoles. As long as the rest of it immerses me I can easily overlook that

Was hoping for a few more roster reveals, although this does seem to confirm Graves.

Rusev, Bo Dallas, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Corey Graves... are these the only NXT guys in there?

I just hope that those names mentioned aren't the only NXT guys on the roster. Surely they're not and they're not wanting to show their hand completely, but at the same time, I hope its not something where there's about 5 or 6 from NXT and the rest of the show is filled out with random CAW's. I must knock the pretty off Tyler Breeze!

The article says 'including' those guys, so hopefully there are others as well.

I have to imagine there will be. That would be an awfully small NXT roster to work with.

Now I just hope the game includes the same face scan feature as NBA 2k15. If that is in this game my excitement for this game and mode will be through the roof.

Yesssssss !!!!!!!,now make a lot of randomly created wrestlers,so we don't just fight all the superstars over and over and give the game lenght,some 2k created regular joes and some Cpu generated wanna be stars lol

I'm thinking seamless integration,where you lose, the game doesn't go blank and load u into a different scenario,you have to walk off the ring and into the back or ushered by reffs,if your hurt, walk to the back and driven to your hotel room.(remember your a wrestler on the road )

plane and car and bus rides included,your arrive from your hotel,into the bldgs ,talk to who ever or suit up and watch on the tv,and wait for ur match, etc--

you have a map of the usa and world to show what state ur in at the time and bus,plane or train icon shows when u travel to a different state,
the the ability get reAly injured and have to heal and miss performance dates and have rehab options,I'm thinking of a crib (nfl2k5) and a weekly prep gym traing mini games, u have to get your strenght and weight up before u can slam certain opponents or do certain moves on certain opponents,

For yukes now-and move to a no mercy type of gameplay and fix the physics system to where u slam an apponents they don't warp and Fix position to collide in a predetermined position.
Add crash physics when u run an oponnent and there is any physical object i from of him like a group of chairs,he doesn't keep running against those objects and stop and turn around,he should crash and ruble and collide and be layed out.

the thought of just winning a title after a big match and having brock appear (or the MITB winner) and destroy your guy/take the title?...and have it be a random thing...that's what I'm looking for in a wrestling game.

i haven't played a wrestling game since i think SvR 2010...so I think i'm going to rather like this...

That makes perfect sense and I'm fine with that. This is their first iteration on next-gen, so I would rather them focus on getting a solid base, like what NBA 2K did, and build from there.

When you say limited creation, how barebones are we talking about here?

Also before I forget, thanks for your info and at least answering questions for now. I just wish this game wasn't delayed now

By limited options creating your superstar, that's just attire-like options right? I really hope it's not a stripped down version of Create-A-Superstar in regards to number of heads and how much you can customize them. NBA 2k14 really pissed me off when I was creating a player since it was so basic, couldn't even continue the mode.

It would be good if u could create a male and female,and from time to time have to play the females matches,time to time because of the limited amount of divas.

All the matters: CAW better not be bare bones. If so, the hell with 2k.

Career modes come and go, usually get stale, but we depend on having a very good CAW mode.
