Kobe is 89 and Wade an 86(underrated)? Weird. Kyrie seems quite overrated.

I have liked the ratings for the most part otherwise.

Dang, I wanted to create the main thread but got beat out.

Anyway, I'm liking all the ratings and alot of guys (16) will hover around 88 and 89 this year.

I think the ratings are solid...im not tripping over a few point swings....I have a feeling D-Wade will have a much better year and may end the season rated higher in this game than when he started....I have to say wow Raptors have a strong 1-2 punch.....NICE! I would like to see a game played by two good players im really anxious to see solid gameplay vid....CZAR's vid was nice but I would like to see a game where we can access the ambiance, animations, sets, crowd reaction, and oh who will be the commentators?

wad and cousins are a little high. cousins is not that high yet and wade should be lower. there games are still coming to them cousins should be low 80s as well as wall.

If he doesn't get injured, most likely yes. The thing is, Wade finally realized the dream is over and he has to get back to work. That's why he lost so much weight this off-season (which he should have done 2-3 years ago) to preserve his knees. He has been coasting too much because he had Lebron around. It's on him and Bosh now, so his stats should improve. Not sure about his % though.

Why should they be lowered (Wall and Cousins) when they are 2 of the best players at their positions? They are both all-star caliber talents and took big leaps in their games/development last year.

Wade on the other hand still had a good year last season which was only hampered by his on going knee issues. He isn't the same athlete he once was, but he still shot a career high percentage from the floor. And is still a good all around player minus perimeter shooting.

All-Star caliber Talents should have a high 70/low 80 rating in my opinion...Was this way few years ago...Now a high 70 is a normal low-end starter... High 80 should be reserved for the top of the crop! We have still 20 players to go and reached 87 OVR already?!?! That means from 87 to 89 there are 16 players...way to many that high!

I think Wade's rating is pretty spot on.

# 19 sticks323 @ 09/26/14 06:35 PM
Wade was bad in the Finals but at least he played. How can Kobe be rated higher than him after only playing in 6 games?? And Damian Lillard is not better than John Wall

The old rating system isn't in play anymore, so you might as well try not to compare this year to the past. The current rating system takes into account a lot more playing styles and is more dynamic.

Yes, the top 20 are bunched together and highly rated, but at least most if not all players are being edited and corrected. Something we didn't see at all in the past, plus specialists and role players are more accurately represented this year.
