Ronnie2K confirmed on Twitter that the new courts for the Spurs, Wizards, Hawks, Raptors, and Kings will be in NBA 2K15 when it ships early next month.
Which of the new courts are you looking forward to playing on most?
That was a very enjoyable article. Lowe hit the nail on the head with a lot of the lower end choices. His observations regarding lighting (or lack thereof) were also on point.
That said, one disagreement I had was with the Pacers court. It could have to do with the Pacers white and yellow home jerseys. Altogether, their games often just look way too bland and empty to me. I've often thought that wearing their yellow alternates as homes could spice things up.
Well I see now why the Clippers red and some other colors always seemed off to me. Why would they send those pics for the video game? The red in real-life is darker than that. But from what I remember the devs fixed that last year anyways so no big deal.
What about the New Orleans Pelicans?
from the Grantland article..
"New Orleans Pelicans
The Pelicans have a brave proposed court redesign that might be the league’s boldest, but they have not received final approval to deploy it this season, per several league sources."

Yeah, that portion of the article caught my eye. Color me intrigued.
lol. I was the one who asked about the courts and all(as you can see from the conversation started in that tweet posted in the OP). OS people doing it yet again, getting info out there for everybody to read about!
Meanwhile, they can't get the 1985 Bucks' court right.
I get being unable to use the MECCA name, but was there a rights issue with artist Robert Indiana as well?
I couldn't find an answer searching the forum, and felt this was the best place to ask.
You know, I actually used to believe the Mecca's inaccuracy might have had to do with potential artistic rendering difficulty that could have come with instituting those block M's in the wood. However, with the successful implementation of the modern Bucks court (with their own block M's) I'm now wondering if the Mecca's could be added as well.
