Animations are definitely improved. Short clips but liked them. Eager to see a full quarter of gameplay.

I can't imagine playing this if it doesn't have a good set of sliders. The help defense looks terrible, and based on that first clip, you can't play on ball defense.
Your exactly right , on ball d looks rough and your pretty much out there on an island if you lose your man on d. Its 2 points easy.

I don't know. It looked better to me, and I was not a fan of 14 at all.

Video looks promising on first viewing.

On the topic of the delay. This is why we bring up EA's past to those of you that like to talk about letting all that go. To those of us that want to see multiple basketball titles on the market again, particularly multiple quality titles. This is not that big of a deal. It's concerning cause I'm not sure what they can accomplish in an extra couple of weeks that they couldn't already have gotten done since they should be going gold around next week or the week after already.

Having said that, a delay hurts in the eyes of the casual consumer who just sees another "lol EA/Live sucks" moment. This looks so bad because of yet another year of saying nothing all summer and giving annoying, arena shot glimpses before finally trickling out a trailer only to drop this news a week later. Whatever goodwill you built with that trailer, you just squashed with a lot of those types. We live in a world where perception becomes reality. So constantly leaving yourself open to where negative perceptions can be formed about what you're doing is a real issue. Long story short. It's just not a good look man.

Hey everybody,

If you’re anything like me, after following all of the storylines leading up to this year's NBA Draft, a really entertaining NBA Summer League and all the other basketball news this summer, you're excited for the upcoming 2014-15 NBA season. It should be amazing.

The team has been pushing hard all year to make NBA LIVE 15 both look and play great, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work they’ve done. You may have seen a few early preview pieces pop up from our visits with press or our recent trip to Gamescom, and we’ve been getting some great feedback from our conversations with the media, as well as from all of the play testing we’ve been doing over the last few months.

It was great to see such a positive response to our Visuals Trailer that we released last week. We think we’ve come a long way since the launches of the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 last November, and we’re still working on tuning certain areas in 5-on-5 gameplay. The team took on an incredible amount of work this year literally touching every single system in gameplay, focusing on providing improved control and responsiveness, as well as animation that both looks and feels great. That will be our calling card moving forward.

Considering all the work that’s gone in so far, we will be taking a few extra weeks to polish the game and make sure you get an incredible NBA experience from the moment you first boot up the title. This extra development time means we will be moving our launch date to October 28 to line up to opening night of the 2014-15 NBA season. This was a hard decision, but it’s the right one, as we are totally committed to delivering the highest-quality game we possibly can. You’ll be hearing a lot more from us over the coming weeks, starting with a brand-new gameplay blog that will give you the first details on all the ways we plan to deliver on our promises to build a better experience.

As I said, we’re very proud of the improvements we’ve made in NBA LIVE 15, and we believe with some additional time, our game will reach its full potential.

We’ll also be providing additional blogs, videos, deep-dives and more in the coming weeks as the game comes together and we prepare for launch. And as always, I encourage all of you to make up your minds and see for yourself by playing the trial when it becomes available closer to launch.

I'll go out on a limb and say that this is on Rookie difficulty, due to the off ball and help defense.

Also, user vs user just to show some "stuff" like the contested jumper, Lebron poster, Harden And 1.

I will say (and already have) that it does look bad, but it definitly looks like an improvement.

But yeah, those players look no where near as good as they did in all of those screenshots

I actually think the gameplay posted is night and day to Live 14. Still a lot to work on though, this looks like a game that's in the 7 out of 10 range. That would be a great start for EA when thinking back to where the Live series has gone.

I really liked the 3 clips. I mean I liked 14 so if 15 is in any way improved, I'll play the heck out of it.

EDIT: kinda upset they kept that stupid stiff crossover dribble animation in; hated it in 14

Have they even confirmed that there are sliders in this years game?

My phone chopped off my sentence in my previous post, but this game looks the same, which is not good. Common sense told me that if they couldn't get it right having years to make Live 14, how could they get it right in 10 months?? The nostalgia in me gave them a chance, but all good things come to an end. Once games step into the PS3/360 era and demanded more realism, Live fell off. If it wasn't for Live 10, there would be nothing to talk about since 04 smdh

I liked the Handles and the Driving to the Hoop, the Driving on 2k can be frustrating sometimes, but It wasn't as bad as I thought. I don't think the Delay will help... They just missed a window that they had to release at the same time as 2k for their fans who are tired of 2k (NOT ME) but do they honestly think that they will wait for Live 3 weeks later after hearing how much fun 2k is. Their strategy is that IF 2k's servers are BAD.. People will choose Live and return 2k to get live, but the failure in that plan is.. 2k will still get those purchases as selling copies anyway.

What part of it looks the same?

WIP videos, which makes sense since the game is not done yet. Would love to see some retail-version videos when the time comes, but in the mean time I would like to hear what tweaks are being made to this current version.

I hope there are more gameplay blogs coming.

Looks the same gameplay wise. Nail looks to be going into the coffin.

The players, their sizes, the movement. It all looks last gen honestly and NOTHING like the visuals trailer.
