Da_Czar Brings Along Sim Nation, As He Joins the NBA 2K15 Team

One image, one voice...

I've talked to him over the phone, chatted with him on AOL Instant Messenger (yes we are both that old). Never saw the guy in my life, but I met him by surprise at 2K Sports headquarters 4 or 5 years ago. He didn't have to introduce himself. I heard his voice as he walked through and I shouted at him. BIG CZAR!

While most know him as Da_Czar, his real name is Nino Samuel.

I've worked with him in the background for years and watched all of his YouTube videos from start to finish. Posted many of them on OS for everyone to watch and learn from. We even host some of his videos here at OS.

Today, it was announced that he has joined the NBA 2K development team, full time. He will be working with the gameplay team and will focus on the offensive AI system.

Please show this man some love by congratulating him on his new job.

Hopefully, he has the time to chime in at OS, like he has done over the years. All the best Nino!

I didn't read the entire thread and not sure if it's been answered, but did Czar actually work full time on 2K15? Or will it only effect 2K16? I mean, I'm sure he's been in touch with the 2K guys the last few years, but how big of an effect does he have on 2K15? Does anyone know?

I'm gonna rock the whole 10 teams series in here so you can remember how dope his telestration explaining how offenses work is.

It takes a great mind to explain that stuff then you say wow now I wanna to play and try that stuff

I wish the NHL series had a Czar for us like him. I am not a basketball guy but do like the sports and have got a couple of NBA 2k games 2011 and 2012 like playing them and his videos very entertaining but unfortunately I am a hockey guy. Let's start taking applications for an NHL Czar. Nice job big man you derserve it look forward to a title with your stamp on it.

Side Note: Hope to see Saved Plays from every team playbooks for Online and of course Practice Plays mode but im sure yall have that under control!

Congrats Czar, it's truly amazing to see guys from OS, great basketball minds with so much passion turn their Hobbie for a video game into a full time job. Not only do you get to work on the game you love and make it better for you but as well as simnation.

I am also just a basketball novice that has been both educated and entertained by your videos. My favorite is the breakdown of the Horns Super Set. This video goes into details that I would never know nor understand otherwise. Very cool. Here is part 1 of the series:
