Did You Lead the Panthers to Victory in the Opening Sequence of Madden NFL 15?

For those of you that have an early copy of Madden NFL 15, or downloaded the trial version from EA Access, did you lead Cam Newton and the Panthers to a victory in the opening sequence?

What did you think of it? Did you enjoy it? Try to skip it, hate it? Just curious.

I scored a TD with about 10 seconds left after scrambling to the right with Cam. I was thoroughly impressed with the presentation. I was frozen for a second when it went from cut scene to in game. It was so seamless I didn't realize I was supposed to take control and play. I actually got a few butterflies when I took over. The moment really did feel important.

i did.

i tried to skip it.

i was a bit antsy since it was cutting into my 6 hours.

i was hoping i wouldn't have to do it again when the retail drops.

25 Yard TD run on 4th down by Cam.

It was actually very epic...

And I didn't even have my kinect plugged in. smh

I like it. It would have been nicer if they would have started us out in old gen then slowly transformed us to current gen, but whatever.

I won the game on a slant pass on 2nd and 14.

Sure did, Ran it 35 yards with Cam on a will scramble. Very cool and harmless...nobody should really hate it

I skipped it because I didn't want it cutting into my 6 hours. I'll play it out when I get the PS4 version. Loved the commentary though...

Sure did. Hit a bomb to Avant with about 43 seconds left to play.

I thought it was a pretty cool intro to the game, really got me hyped up to play.

Out of curiosity, why did EA make it so we lead the Panthers to victory over their coverboy Richard Sherman? Seems a little odd, but definitely a cool way to intro the game.

I skipped it as there were three of my buddies here wanting to play as well. Cool way to start. I was watching the intro and then "oh I'm supposed to play now?"

I was wondering that too. Maybe they felt bad that he got beat in the finals two years in row.
