Love that RKO. I feel like I'm in the minority but I wish they would get rid of the pin meter. What does everyone else think?

Yeah I hate that meter too

I still think the ref needs to get to the one count faster. I realize it's because the meter doesn't pop up quickly enough, but get rid of the meter or have it come up more quickly.

A couple things.

I love how you could tell Cesaro was tired.

And even though it's small, we've got a ****ing time keeper and an announcer/doctor? at ringside.

What's the alternative, though? Go back to button mashing to kick out? It would either be that or some sort of timing-based mechanic - like the meter. I don't know what else they could do.

I don't mind the pin meter offline, but it can be a real pain while playing online if a match gets bogged down with lag.

That RKO was very nice! I also like how you could tell the guys were tired just by how slow their movements were. I can already tell that will make the great matches really stand out.

Looks like pacing will be the key in this game. Wonder how the stamina system will affect the quicker guys and their offense.

The game looks great, but it looks like we still have that awkward period of time after a win where the guy just stands there before his theme starts. I was really hoping that would be different for next-gen.

I only play offline but I would be completely OK if it was decided by ratings. That way it's always a surprise.

With the meter I feel like a bunch of matches end on random moves when they really shouldn't end.

I like the meter because you have more control that way. Button mashing does nothing but make me upset about the lack of control.

I think they could use stick rotating an interesting mechanic for kicking out.

I DESPISE that trashcan meter. Everything about it makes me want to rage. But I see that a lot of people like it. Wish that would've kept button-mashing optional like it used to be. Don't understand why they took it out. Drives me nuts.

The lockpicking mechanic from Splinter Cell would be PERFECT for this! Depending on your ratings and how beat up you are, the zone size will change, getting smaller the worse off you are. Find the zone, wiggle the stick, and escape the pin.

I like the idea you have I'm just worried it would take a bit too long. Lock picking is about patience and trying to kick out of a pin is a bit nerve wrecking. But maybe I'm interpreting your idea from the wrong way.
Though I have to say I LOVE Splinter Cell with every fiber of my being hahaha.

Which is good for people who spam the running grapples online.
