Not that it matters a ton but I won my Wm kotr.

Got 2 horrible cards...Wm swagger and sv ryback. Oh well. I used some sv cards to quickly train some cards.

So in exhibition I finally reached UR
In. KOTR in still in SR, waiting until I get to UR to start one
In RTG in SR+

I just pulled two SR (Kofi and Eva Marie) in one RTG game

I'm only at Heath Slater so far but I'm gonna try to at least get a UR card because my deck is so unbalanced

Rare pro Hulk Hogan
SR Fusion Stardust
SR HBK
SR Warrior
Epic Nikki Pro

I don't train those guys because I'm busy training Nikki but once I get the UR Dean login bonus I should be good. And then I'll get Epic Dolph and SV Seth so all my Rares and SRs will all be fusion food. I didn't ever do fusions on my last account but now it's pretty cool. I also have a SR Kofi fusion and a cameron SR fusion that I just pro'd because I'd never haven time to train it

Do you guys just randomly pro cards that are lower than your deck tier, just because you'll never train them?

I have a bunch of non-perfect rare pros because I get so many dupes.

# 8868 hawkeyekid @ 06/11/15 02:14 PM
I dont. I will fully train some sv cards to quickly train Wm rtg and fusion dupes.

Same as hawkeye, I train survivor/legend/epic/ur all the way then use those to train WM and RTG cards.

Just got aUR Rey as my UR freebie, I'm about halfway through Khali.

I keep getting minor rare, and SR guys so I have like 30 combined Rares and SRs.

Then I have UR Rey and Epic Nikki lol.

I have a confession to make.

I bought a Throwback pack. I mean ... Virgil Runnels died today, and I actually know who he was and watched wrestling that long ago, and I had put some credits on the account for title bouts.

And I got a Survivor card (my first): Bushwhacker Butch (Someone else I also remember).

So then I bought another one and I got The Honkey Tonk Man, who I also remember ... so then I bought another because people I actually know!!! and got Dean Malenko (UR). That stopped the impulse buys instantly.

If CD knew what was good for them, they would make the pack a little less likely to do something like that. They might have gotten me to buy like 10 packs if I was getting a Survivor and a couple epics and then a Legendary and another Survivor or something like that.

Throw an UR of a terrible wrestler nobody ever liked on me and it's like a bucket of ice water.

I agree having the old school wrestlers is pretty awesome, but the packs are so weighted towards ur that the price of them will never justify buying one. Even the WM ones are worse than normal WM cards so the only reason for higher tier players to buy them is to have them set as their champion. Congrats on the survivor though, worked out well for you on that first pack...but yeah downhill from there haha

I'll never get rid of Honkey Tonk or Bushwhacker. I will probably set Bushwhacker as my Champion just for laughs... they picked the perfect picture for his Schtick.

I actually watched the most recent Wrestlemania recently since I hadn't watched any Wrestling since around 1993, and I was surprised to see a lot less really bad acting and some actual legitimate wrestling. There was still a lot of obviously staged and choreographed stuff there for entertainment (Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt was an obvious job match ... that looked like they were wrestling in molasses it was so slow).

But I was pretty surprised by how many actual legit moves I saw and how many actually dangerous things they were doing ... that opening melee for the "Intercontinental" title was particularly eye opening when people were getting thrown out of the ring into ladders ... there's no way to fake that ... those guys were taking nasty hits and I'm pretty sure the person who was gonna "win" was pre-determined, so a lot of those guys went out and worked and took a beating.

The last time I had checked in with wrestling, it was so bad that even on SD televisions you could see almost all of the blows were fake. Sometimes one wrestler would just whiff and totally not even hit the other guy and the other guy would still sell it.

Anyone watch regularly? Has it actually gotten consistently worth watching again, or is Wrestlemania just like a one time thing every year where the wrestling is much better than usual?

On another note: 2nd placed my most recent KotR (didn't have time to grind energy with RC on) and got an Epic AJ Lee (too bad I can't dupe her) and a +30 CHA support which I can't see using since I have +11 Blassie and +23 Fuji.

Thinking of going ahead and moving up to Legendary KotR as I have 5 epic pairs to train up and make pros, and I can't imagine I'll be in Legendary exhibition tier much longer. As soon as The Rock is done being trained up and I put him in the lineup I'm gonna get my Survivor freebie.

I started watching again about 6 months ago after not watching for 15 years. Is it worth watching? Yeah I guess. My only problem is the same thing it was before...the storylines and feuds they have get stale pretty quick. The quality of wrestling is actually really good though; there are a bunch of really fantastic wrestlers. It's unfortunate some of them are wasting away due to not being on tv or in any storylines...Stardust is one that immediately comes to mind. Their creative team just isn't very creative...never have been and doubt they ever will be. I'll keep watching though because the wrestling itself is entertaining and the few good characters they have make it worth watching. Divas are just horrendously bad though. Not sure what's going on with that division but they are awful both in ring and on the mic. Really makes me miss Lita and Trish.

Edit: and yes Wrestlemania was fantastic other than divas match, the glacial Taker/Bray match, and HHH being the usual dbag he always is and not letting Sting get the win.

Divas wasn't really a thing when I used to watch, except for Stephanie who got pulled into a couple of hokey storylines.

The stories and heel turns and stuff have always been cheesy going back since forever ... but there's an audience for it ... like Wrestling is hugely popular with its audience.

And I have to admit that the Bray Wyatt as heir apparent to Undertaker storyline was basically only pulled off because Wyatt has really good mic work. Hopefully they take his character somewhere worthwhile.

Edit: I think they had Sting lose to set up a Retirement match between Sting and Undertaker at the next Wrestlemania. I'm not sure Sting will do it though as presumably WWE is going to want to keep Undertaker around on a services contract and keep milking his persona after he stops occasionally wrestling (he only does Wrestlemania now right?), and so that match would probably be an Undertaker win ... unless they want to finally do the whole carry him out on his shield thing ... but I can't see the WWE sending Undertaker out on a loss since presumably they will continue to have him appear to drive crowds crazy with that signature bell toll and chanting and such.

My best guess is that if Sting agrees (probably will get a personal services contract also), we'll see them at the next WM and Undertaker will win and they'll both retire ... but they'll work Undertaker into the Bray Wyatt persona somehow as a way to keep bringing Undertaker in for excitement without him having to stay in shape and wrestle. Apparently he has been injured a LOT over the years and at his age it's a ridiculous amount of work to do a match.

I'll respond to that later as I'm off to bed and your lengthy posts compel me to respond with longer posts than usual haha

The thing about the Throwback packs... I'd totally love to pro Honkey Tonk and Bushwhacker. Those would mean more to me than all the eventual WM pros I'm going to have.

But when there's a pack that has 50 or 60 wrestlers in it or whatever ... trying to pro a single one is an exercise in futility.

So putting Epic Pro The Rock in for Legendary Orton bumped me just into Survivor tier and I got Dolph Ziggler as my freebie.

I'm grinding hard in NBA and not using my bouts as fast as they come free as I only occasionally tap on the phone but I hope to at least get the survivor card from RTG. Not sure 2 Survivors, 2 Leg Fusions and a bunch of Epic Pros is enough to seriously try for the WM cards yet anyway.

Given that the Survivor Fusion Superstars/Diva are way easier to dupe, I shouldn't even bother to train Dolph right? He's just going into fusion like the moment the RTG is over because any Fusion Survivor card is better, right?

# 8880 EticketJedi @ 06/12/15 03:16 AM
I managed to pro Honky Tonk but other than that it's been all URs. Oh well.

Set Dusty as my champ. RIP
