btw does that look like be a pro in first person view?

Okay. Gameplay looks still the same. But the rest is amazing.

BAP 1st person might be only in cutscenes.

What I loved was Methot arguing with the ref on the penalty shot. That looked so real. Also the fans doing whining to Marchand.

Atmosphere and presentation will be great.

Even I'm starting to get worried about the lack of info regarding this game.

Correct me if I'm wrong but at this point in August don't we usually have around 90% of the games features and info? And again, correct me if I'm wrong but the demo date would be announced around this time?

Yet here we are in the middle of August with no real time gameplay that's from an official source such as IGN, Gamespot, or EA itself. As well as having little to no info regarding the game except for the same speech Rammer has been giving for months now.

I've been trying to resist these complaint threads but I have to same I am now starting to get worried.

Looks great, but still no real gameplay. I know these trailers aren't meant for the OS crowd, but the constant "sizzle, no steak" approach is getting tiresome.

Ya man were all in the same boat. I bet all the EA NHL guys are getting a good chuckle at all of us sweating over here with the lack of info.

Game looks wonderful, but once again a theatrical trailer with cuts that don't really show anything from how you would play the game.

I hated that they show Iginla fighting, makes me worried that the fighting will still occur after big hits etc.

The fans and arenas looked great and that is what they concentrated on, but it was hard to tell about the gameplay. I worry we will see these same canned animations 1000x's over. But most of all we are all concerned about the gameplay and features and the lack of info. Just give us some info please!

I turned down fighting in 14 to 0. I had 2 fights in 10 games.

That's still 2 too many for how it works. And sliders don't apply to online gameplay.

I am pretty sure the game will play very much like 14 so I think we already know what the game play will be like.

Some of those cuts scenes like the penalty box gave me a vague memory of nhl 05. Still, good to see some new stuff added into the presentation.

Yeah, I'm sure they're really laughing it up and thinking of more ways to intentionally anger their consumer base!!

the pregame looked amazing and so did the graphics but will there be actual penalties (not during stoppages but during gameplay). I'm also concerned that it will all be one on one deking instead of having offenses actually set up and having passing and movement be the most important part

# 14 jdl24 @ 08/13/14 11:08 AM
OMG that looks amazing.

Yeah.. looks fantastic!

That shot of Marchand at around 55 second being a pest and Bergy at the end just wow. That's all I can say is wow to this game. If the game actually plays like this there will be no competition for Sports Game of the Year. I want to see what they have done for the playoff atmosphere. There is no sport with as thrilling of a postseason as the Stanley Cup Finals, past games started to build on that atmosphere but were limited by the console.
