Really hoping 2k puts their mark on this, I'm so excited. I mean the expectations for gameplay, graphics, animations, presentation, and possibility of a career mode have me so pumped for this game. Really hope it doesn't go through that transitional phase sports games are usually in with their first year on new hardware. I want them to really push as much as they can. No virtual currency either.
Im not getting my hopes up this year. I got my hopes with 13 with all the Attitude Era content and the game played awfully. Last year was better but it was still a THQ game. I am hoping they give us a 2K/VC like game we have come to expect with the NBA games. I hope they at least give us a character model becuase they did show the Cena model at E3. Also I hope they keep VC far away from this series I don't want to be paying 1,000VC to make changes to a RAW card in Universe Mode because 2K needs money.
For the Xbox One and PS4 I'm expecting a graphically beautiful game (from what I hear VC's best artist worked on this game) that tries to nail new game play dynamics. I'm not expecting a FULL game though. I think there will be some full re-writes with some things as the game moves forward and they were not able to get that done this year. This IMO will be a strong foundation game that will not have all the modes of the past games and I can live with that.
Which is gonna be awful if they do implement VC into 2K15 because we are going to have to pay VC just to make changes in Universe Mode. Pretty much Universe Mode becomes MyGM
I see people complaining about VC all the time and I play the **** out of NBA 2K and have no idea wtf the problem is, lol.
They use VC for EVERYTHING on the Next Gen version of NBA 2k15. It's crazy annoying in the My GM mode which is why I stopped playing that mode. Plus I like the MyPlayer mode.
