I don't have a problem with the top 5. Screens like good like usual. So does everything get pushed back a day since they split up releasing the linebackers?

It is not that I have problem with Von being the top guy (or tied, rather) but I am not sure I see consistency. Some guys at some positions take hits for an off year, others don't.

I love Robert Mathis, but is really a Top 5 OLB?

Id personally take aldon over Von any day of the week.

That Justin Houston shot looks amazing. Lavonte looks like a robot though lol

Seems to be a heavy emphasis on pass rushers, ratings wise.

Scheme wise I am sure that rating would change if you run a 4-3 with tradition personnel (in which case he would be an end, not an OLB, but still)

The thing with Von is, he has such great physical talents (speed, acceleration) that it's tough to lower his rating. He had a off year, but he had to deal with the suspension and injury. He should be back to form.

Definitely not gonna argue, I agree. I just don't understand what warrants one off-year being "less of an off year" than another off year in the Moore's eyes, strictly from a ratings adjustment standpoint. Not even just in this case, but with all the ratings released so far.

I agree. Like Julio Jones, who when healthy, is definitely a top 5 wr in the NFL. Some guys they went off of reputation (Andre Johnson) and other guys they went of last years stats/success (Russell Wilson). There is no consistency but overall I haven't been too upset with what I've seen.

After the year he had last season, I do not see how you could say he's not?

19.5 sacks on a struggling defense, unlike teams with 2+ great rushers, he gets focused by blocks and still was able to be very dominant.

He played lights out last year. That positive test taints it a little.

Guys like Jamie Collins, Deandre Levy, Clay Matthews, Orakpo, Hightower, etc shouldn't be far behind him though

Thanks for bringing up bad memories, bro.

Nah, joking. That was a fun game though.

Mathis did play lights out last year, for sure.

Seems odd that in almost every group of these screens there are players with pics taken facing away from camera, deliberate because they don't have a face scan? Also, SF's helmet is no where near that reflective in real life, much more opaque in actuality.

This makes me a feel a lot less irritated about them leaving Von, Aldon, (Hardy) and Mathis off the Top DEs.

No Claymaker? I has a sad.

This is where we need to differentiate skillset at position.

3-4 DE and 3-4 OLB deserve their own category ranking.

I would not go as far as saying Nickel CB and Slot Recivers should be in separate rankings but the aforementioned positions should be ranked in a separate pile.

Vontaze Burfict deserves a 95+ OVR in his own right.

I would rate Mathis higher too were it not for him testing positive to PED's

Collins has a ton of upside but he really only played the last part of the year. I can't wait to see what he does this year. He's a three down player.

He needs to build off last year this season before he is even considered in the top 10.

The ratings are subjective even though Donny says there based off stats. He rates Brady lower due to a down year statistically, but Mayo had a down year due to injury and he stays in the top 5.

It also seems some guys are being penalized for suspensions and others aren't.
