Glad to see Sitton get some recognition but shocked to see him as the 3rd best lineman...I didn't expect him to crack the top 5

Yeah, I think there is definitely that Madden inflation going here. Oh well, not surprised

has there every been a 99 olineman??? it always seems Thomas is a 98 and the best overall just strange other postion's have top players at 99 but have never saw a olineman be one.

Love the way Trent Williams plays the game. Great athlete and a tough guy mentality

Excellent list. Can't really argue there.

Orlando Pace, Jonathan Ogden, and Walter Jones all used to be 99s, not sure if anyone else has since.

Jonathan Ogden had a 99 rating for several years, back when he was in his prime.

If I remember properly, those were all pre 2006? could be wrong though. Either way I don't think anybody should be rated 99. That goes for any position. The best two or three players in the ENTIRE league should be 97 or 98 tops and other than that maybe have a handful of players or so over 90. That would make the game play out more realistically, and also, probably have each players strengths and weaknesses stand out MUCH more than this current system, where every player plays like a juggernaut.

In my opinion, ONLY the elite tier players, i.e. Manning, Calvin, AP, Brady, Rodgers, etc, should be 90+. The second tier players should be 80-89, and the middle of the pack starters should be in the 65-79 range. Madden currently puts at least 5-10 players at 90+ at each position, which is absurd.

Does it bother anyone else that every has the same dirt mark on their left shoulder. Lol I don't know how I noticed it, but now it sticks out to me haha.

I believe Walter Jones was a 99 in Madden 07, the other two were 99s from 01-06? or something.

I think Ogden was 05 and Pace was 03 or 04.

Wow, they scanned Joe Thomas' face into the game. Never thought I'd see the day. Very cool.

I like that the uniforms get marks on them and the player gets dirty. They should mix it up though so the players don't all have the same dirt mark.

Sitton is really good, but not the 3rd best lineman. Can't wait to see hawk be a 90.

He's at least a top 5 guard. I hope the Hawk bit was sarcasm.

It was. But with all these crazy ratings (Kuhn, Wilson, Sitton) you never know.

Haha true. Although I've paid for premium at pro football focus for a few years now and I've seen some of Donny's ratings align with them. I mean it's debatable how credible they really are but I trust them and football outsiders more than espn or any other site.

Doesn't matter...OL ratings do not matter at all in the game....
