"Hey NBA LIVE fans! First off, we just wanted to say thanks for all of your support around our first-look screenshot. We’re excited to be able to share that in-game asset with you, and today we’re going to dig a little deeper into the visual improvements we’re making in NBA LIVE. We’ve talked a lot about head scans and player likenesses, but we’re going so far beyond that this year. Here’s a quick rundown of some of the things we’ve got in store."
Looks good though, I thought for the most part the arena's already looked good, so I'm happy to hear they are paying attention to the smaller things, like ticket checkers, the shot clock, floor, more detailed stands, etc.
The visual upgrade looks pretty good! The Live team is on the right track with the info they are putting out by showing improvements and snippets of the visuals. The next thing they should start doing next month is showing and telling us about the gameplay and animation improvements for Live 15. Everyone that has a interest in the upcoming game are waiting on those important factors as well, so I hope they will give us some info about that next month.

As always, thanks for taking the time to learn more about*NBA LIVE 15; we’ll be back in August with the first gameplay details and a breakdown of the on-court action in this year’s edition.
Looks good so far, but the tell-tale for me will be seeing the animations of the players. Say what you will about the other game out there, but they have the animations down to a science, especially the collisions around the hoop.
The longer we go without seeing any gameplay footage, the less optimistic I'll be about Live reclaiming the crown any time soon. Personally, I'd love to buy both games if they are both good. I always do that with FIFA and PES, and it offers a great change of pace when you start to burn out on one or the other.
I'm agree about the animations, in the picture with Harden, you see him throwing up the three signal which is something they never did in 14, so hopefully that is a sign that some players have unique animations.
I am rooting for Live - really I am but I am not willing to give them any props for "catching up" to the competition. This game was delayed/cancelled for 3 years straight and when they finally debut on next gen the game looked and played like it was supposed to - 3 years ago. That was weak.
The screenshots look GREAT - but they supposed to especially since this is your second go round on this generation of platforms. I will get on the bandwagon when I see live gameplay and not before.
Should anyone be Nervous that the lead developer has Left the Nba Live 15 Team??? are they going in a different direction? Do they have to break down the foundation again and rebuild? Ca'Mon EA smdh
Yes yes the game looks beautiful. I'd like to see the Knicks jersey colors, and the Warriors blue is off but I dont truly care about that. Kobe 9's got me slightly giddy. The Celtics floor is probably as perfect as you can get it and with the perfect-looking Rondo they got, it will be a fun experience playing in Boston (assuming I can edit rosters and make Rondo play how Rondo plays).

HOWEVER... They'll be back in August with gameplay details? Doesnt the game release Oct. 7th? Is that the thing now?? We wait till the last minute to talk about gameplay? That's annoying. I mean August will eventually get here, but waiting until a month before release to showcase gameplay... the red flag is in my hand and Im ready to throw it up lol
Um...August->September->October. That's two months.

Yea, I cant remember my months correctly. Sounds like I have bigger problems lol. My bad. I was just coming back to try to change ti before anyone noticed.
A month to a month and a half is plenty of time to talk and showcase gameplay. I'm not worried about that in the least.
It's fine for guys to "want gameplay", but to ignore or discount what they are giving this early is kind of shortsighted. One of the biggest gripes early on last year was that the game didn't look next gen. They are addressing that early on, and they are addressing it quite well.
It will come in due time. No need to throw up any "red flags" this far out in advance. If you don't see anything in the 3-4 weeks before launch, then you can have cause for concern. I don't know many companies period who will show their hand this early, at least in the sports gaming world.
Knowing that gameplay news will appear in August, is it possible that we'll get others news before that? Not counting who's the cover athlete, I was thinking about modes, improvement in audio/stats/online or other stuff.
This new "scan" technology has me very excited about the graphics for this series. Whats next for the Live team to show...........?
I want to see a complete scan of a player model with all the parts, head scan, jersey/shorts scan and shoe scan all put together.
Yes! And if they can implement visual updates post release via online updates as they intimated (with remaining 30% of faces), then even better!!! Huge potential.
