FIFA 15 News Post

FIFA 15 had a busy booth at E3 2014, with lots of media, exhibitors, retailers and others packing the tiny "EA Sports Room" to see what was new for this year's iteration of EA footy. Personally, I enjoyed FIFA 14 on Xbox One (and PS4) so much that I think it's the franchise with the least distance to cover in terms of gameplay and features, but it's always exciting to see what's new.

Watching the World Cup makes me really excited for the next Fifa game. I love there attention to detail. ..why can other EA franchises pay attention. Gamers want the details that make the game more realistic, not the fluff like sideline accuracy (madden). The fifa team always seems to improve year to year

You are talking about the team that included shoulder design in their E3 presentation? Oh, okay...

I'll buy this just because it includes the Ignite engine in the PC version and I would hope it could mean other EAS franchises coming to PC. Madden is a pipe dream, but I'm hoping at least for UFC or NHL to come over in the future.

Also, because if 2K follows suit and brings their next gen engine I'll be ecstatic.

FIFA is the best sports game made. I'm looking forward to new stadia exteriors and the focus on the pitch.

I just hope they don't take the "story" of the game too far. It will be cool if it slightly impacts the game, team chemistry, etc. I just hope it doesn't turn into a bit of a soap opera on the pitch.

So I guess all players will have red lines connected to every defender after they stand still and watch through ball after through ball runner after runner fly past them.

All of this fluff is great, but if the AI isn't improved it will be another disappointment.

Are they talking modes yet?

PLEASE tell me tournament mode is back. Why on earth would they remove it?

Because arena exteriors add so much to the game am I doing it right?

I kinda liked Fifa 14 but much of 15 is off cosmetic nature. If the first feature they announce is dynamic fan behavior, then you're in for a letdown. It's gonna be improvments in detail on the pitch, which makes a good gameplay better but I just expect more than just new dribbling controls. And it still looks like Fifa 06 Road to World Cup in higher resolution. It's just what it is.

hahaah wow FIFA truly is the king of features you can't see (read don't exist).

Maybe they should try getting player individualism right after trying for how many years...and stating that it's in the game.

And to the guy saying it's the best sports game, lmfao...far from it. The only two titles that actually represent their real life counterparts are MLB The Show and NBA 2k. Everyone else should be ashamed.
