Wow and to think this is the first year of next gen. I can't wait to see gameplay, this is actually the one game that makes me want to buy a PS4.

There were a number of arenas in last gen NHL where the home team is sitting on the wrong bench: Anaheim, Boston, Pittsburgh & Nashville are the ones I can name off the top of my head.

Looks like Pittsburgh still does, & according to the trailer Boston hasn't been fixed either. Arenas still look gorgeous though.

these almost look "too" good, not sure if I am buying these to be honest, we all saw the Madden 25 screens and look how that turned out

Madden has been doing that for years. I'm willing to give the NHL team the benefit of the doubt.

they said authentic right?

Pens are going the wrong direction.

they need to flip sides with the visitors for the 1st and the 3rd. benches obviously as well.

ea had the Pens going the right direction until NHL 10, then somehow they messed it up.

Listen I hate the pens and could care less about them. But these guys are right how on earth can they get this wrong😯

I had noticed the same thing. The arenas are beautiful and detailed well.....but that stuff would really bug me.

I know there is errors as stated above, but from a graphical standpoint these look great

Does every next gen game that comes out in 2014 have Pittsburgh fans sitting in the dark? I mean most of the fans in that city are clueless, but the upper sections being in complete darkness is a tad much.

Seriously though, things are way too dark in that arena. Can't even see if they have all of the banners up or how the roof looks or the fans.

I want to see Tampa Bay's arena and see if they have their scoreboard. Their scoreboard is sick.

All of these are great but they forgot the glowing section entrances in Staples Center. Other then that I can't wait to play in these arenas.

What?! A Pens fan is CLEARLY wearing Flyers underwear! Come on EA, I thought you said 'Authentic' arenas. I sure hope the bathrooms aren't in the wrong location at the Staples Center. That would make me really upset.

The things people get mad about is depressing. The point of these screen shots is to show off the power of next gen hardware with the new acquisition of arena names and structure. Stop nitpicking every single detail people. This is truly getting annoying.

I don't usually nitpick about tiny details but this isn't that small of a detail, if you watched the Kings games on TV it's one of the first things you see when the camera zooms out. It's a defining detail of the stadium. If they don't have the glowing entrances it would be like playing in Nebraska without the Sea of Red.

Look at the bellow photo, you can see the correct entrances in the background to the right.

It is a bummer they can't put the team on the right bench

Consol looks pretty good, I guess. But don't we expect that from a PS4/Xbox One game? The mistakes are what kills me. As someone who goes to 10-15 games a year, it's WAY too dark. As has been noted, the benches are wrong. I guess I don't really mind the "Mitsubishi Electric" logo being replaced by a Honda ad on the jumbotron, but to me if you can't get the real company, why not just leave it black? I do like the detail that they at least seemed to get relatively close to the real scoreboard arrangement/fonts...but DEAR GOD, when will EA get rid of the cheesy "Make Some Noise" tickets that go around the LED ribbons? For God's sake, can it be that hard to just come up with some sort of animated Pens logo? And throw in some generic goal and penalty messages? This totally ruins the arena realism for me. Every 21st century arena has these LED boards all around them, and if they're all displaying awful, generic, 10 year old EA messages? Totally ruins the progress of then arenas themselves looking so good.

EA are the ones to boast about these arenas being spot-on. I don't see how some people can call-out the other people who spot the major issues wrong with them. EA releases 4 arena pics and 25% of them already have major errors. Not to mention Consol is nearly in 75% darkness for some reason. What was the point of creating 9,000 unique fans for the rinks if you cannot even see them because it is pitch black in every section above the 100's?

It's just a lack of attention to detail. It's not a game breaking thing or anything like that, but it just shows that they don't care enough to actually get it right. I mean it's the first thing I notice, the teams being on the wrong bench.

The fact that they've put so much emphasis on the fans in the crowd, and the real versions of Doc and Eddie being in the game (who cares about this?? Honestly. So they put them in front of a big screen, who the hell cares??? Yet Rammer hypes it as something that "no other sports game has ever done". which is technically true, but it's not even something that is remotely intriguing. People will watch it once and then skip it. God they annoy me.) should all be red flags that the gameplay and AI, and the real things that need to be fixed and improved, will not be.
