Well that was underwhelming...

What a waste of time, shouldn't even bother showing that.

Out of all of the Konami "announcements of an announcement" this one had to be the worst.

Check Adam Bhatti's latest tweets, some good (very impressive!!!) screenshots of the latest datapacks faces. Screenshots was taken from PS3.

I´m imagine now, how it will look on PS4, XBox One and PC

Do you mean these?

Spoiler

They sure look fantastic but I'm more worried about the gameplay, I hope the 1080p 60 fps are true but PES needs to do much more than that to compete head to head with FIFA.

Adam Bhatti's Tweet about PES 2015 and the upcoming Infos:

All about the gameplay, of course. Plenty of time to explain that soon, but nice to know we're producing industry leading player faces again

I haven't played a soccer game in years, but was actually thinking about getting one when I make the jump to next-gen.

Can anyone here give me an idea of the pro's and con's to both games?
I've read that PES has the better gameplay, but Fifa is getting closer.
What about the off-field managerial options?

Thanks!

I'm looking forward to seeing the next gen footage. I've got FIFA 14 on my PS4, but I've always been a bigger fan of PES.

PES =2khockey FIFA= Nhl hockey.
Fifa has all the licences pes has some fake names and uniforms that need editing.
Both games are pretty weak on the managerial side but i havnt really touched them much for a few years games havnt been good enough (for me)
I think Fifa has the better gm mode but maybe some else can chime in on that part.
Best thing is to play both demos when they release.

pes can be great again, but konami has butchered the series this decade. while fifa is great for all the licensing ...so it looks like a great rep of the sport, there is still something in the core gameplay that, once you dive deep into it, the games gets really repetitive and boring. in a perfect world, we would get the best parts of each series made into one game! with that said, if you are a hardcore sim soccer head then PES will fit the bill. hopefully next generation, konami steps it up.

The new faces look amazing. I think in a couple of years, if FIFA doesn't improve player faces/models more than they did last gen, PES has good chance of passing them significantly in that regard. At least that's something.

Going by the latest versions of both games, FIFA 14 is a really good game that could stand to improve in a few key areas, mainly player/team individuality, and a freshening up of the career modes.
PES is a complete mess actually and in need of a complete overhaul, I hoping that with the jump to next gen PES can once again become a competitor, because it's competition which spurs on innovation, but it's been so bad for so long now that in truth I've lost all faith in the game.

I don't mean to be a jerk but this post has bias written all over it. PES a mess really? I own FIFA and have played PES 2014, no way that game is a "mess" and a complete overhaul is ridiculous considering they did do a complete overhaul about 2 or 3 times this past generation. The Fox engine looks great and plays good, however they do need to tweak some things around which cannot be denied. But an overhaul and a mess ? Absurd

It would make no sense to rebuild again when they just did it for 2014, one of the reasons it felt like an incomplete game gameplay-wise was because of the implementation of the Fox Engine. I just hope they continue improving the engine they have and improve by leaps and bounds the animations, responsiveness, game modes, AI, to name a few.
