EA Sports has just released the first screenshot of NBA Live 15, which showcases an improved player likeness for Paul George, Tony Parker, Rajon Rondo, James Harden, Blake Griffin and Steph Curry.

I hear ya bro. You're entitled to your opinion. I think we can all agree that it's a huge step above previous Live player models.

All these faces are as good, if not better, than NBA 2K14's versions.

I'll be looking forward to seeing more NBA Live stuff.

Credit where credit is due. These are much, much better than last year and it's not even close. I still don't like the painted on jersey look they have going, it looks a little weird in certain spots on some of these, but overall this is a grade A job.

Wow, very impressive. Looks better than 2K, IMO. If the animations and gameplay are overhauled, they have a legitimate shot to get back on top. Can't wait to see more!

I held off on next-gen NBA this past year, but that probably won't be happening this year. I've always been an NBA Live guy, and after seeing these screens, I'm pretty excited about the potential of the next game. They've admitted NBA Live 14 wasn't up to standards, and they are moving forward with necessary improvements. I'll obviously wait until I see some gameplay to make full judgment, but I'm hoping this will be a purchase for me in October.

I'd say that besides the improvement in the players' faces the hair, arms and shoulders, lighting, jersey and body textures look so much better than Live 14; I agree that the jerseys seems really paper-like slim and that collars are too big, besides that it looks fantastic. Now the real test is to see the animations, that and graphics were one of the main problems 14 had.

You can't knock them for making an improvement but the comparison pictures that Steve posted on Twitter, IMO I still think the 2K ones look better.

I'd imagine the jerseys will be improved. I don't see them mentioning the scanning of jersey textures for them to look that bad.

Also, skin looks like skin now. Looking at it more, my first synopsis didn't do it justice. The lighting in the new images look incredible.

Looks pretty good to me, if their gameplay looks good and they have club mode and if 2k doesn't announce crew I may have to get this.

Tony Parker is spot on

Curry is good...looks kinda like a zombie

Blake Griffin is pretty much spot on

Like the rest of us you CAN wait until we see gameplay before getting overjoyed. EA has a bad history now especially the live series with its garbage reputation
