MLB 14 The Show Available As Day 1 Digital Download Available to Download Now (PS4)

MLB 14 The Show will be available as a Day 1 digital download at 12:01 AM EST on May 6th. (SEE UPDATES BELOW) Similar to how users were able to download the PS3 version, expect it to be available at that time, give or take a few minutes.

It doesn't appear as though you will be able to pre-download, as some hoped with the latest PlayStation update. VG24/7 noted Watch Dogs will be the first game available for pre-download, releasing on May 27th.

UPDATE: As of 10:30 AM EST, the game is still not available to download.

UPDATE #2: Due to unforeseen technical issues, MLB 14 The Show for PS4 is not currently available for download via the PlayStation Store. All parties are working as quickly as possible to remedy the issue. We�ll update this post as soon as a resolution is reached. Thank you for your continued patience.

UPDATE #3: Based off of the many responses, the download should be available for everyone now.

You may be 100% right, but they shouldnt say 12:01 am then. Thats what most people are complaining about. Just say it will be released sometime AFTER 12:01 or sometime on 5-6-14. When you put a time on a deadline, and people have paid money relying on that info, they have a right to bitch a bit if its not delivered. Im not playing till morning anyway as it will probably take hours to download much less install. Glad I took off work tomorrow though. Hopefully will be up bright and early to play.

Either they make it available to everyone at 12:01, the servers become overburdened and NOBODY gets it, or they stagger the release to avoid problems.

Anyone else getting an error "this product cannot be purchased" or is that what your already talking about?

I can beat you all since I went to Walmart, the woman wouldnt sell the game at 11:58, I waited, and then they told me and the other 3 guys waiting that it wont be instock til tommorow afternoon

Just found out that Infamous Second Son was not ready for about 30-40 mins as well. Should be up in the next 10 mins or so if past history is any indication

We didn't pay $59.99 to understand how they were going to deliver what they promised. We paid $59.99 to get what they promised.
