Pre-Order EA Sports UFC and Get Bruce Lee, Release Date Set For June 17th

It looks like the "Mystery Fighter" for EA Sports UFC (which was scheduled to release later tonight) has leaked out. According to NeoGAF user Coolade, users will be able to get instant access to him by pre-ordering the game.

Also shown in the picture is the June 17th release date. If and when we get confirmation, we'll update this post.

Seeing as how they said "Instant Access," I assume he'll be available for everyone at some point.

It may be timed DLC. Or he may be a character that can be unlocked through in game. Though if you're familiar with the fight night series, they always charged for DLC I believe? It's been awhile. For the hardcore mma fan that has been waiting for 2 years for this game, it's a day 1 purchase no matter what the reviews are. Official Bruce Lee reveal is 30 minutes away, they might give more information then.

Sweet. Now I can go ahead and pre-order for Amazon without having to miss any DLC that I may actually want.

You play through your career mode and finish it, then you'll unlock him within the game.

I actually agree with you although I feel as if we are in the minority here lol. I could care less about Bruce Lee being in the game. I mean I can see why some people are so excited for him, but I really don't have much interest in non-UFC fighters. Save the roster spot for one of the up and comers.

Count me in the minority as well, I couldn't possibly care less for Bruce Lee in this game and have no desire to ever use him.

EA Dev #1: "Ok guys let's make the best MMA game we can. let's change the fighting system to make it more realistic than ever. We can add legendary Octagon greats like Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock..."

EA Project Manager: "Why don't we just add Bruce Lee to the game we already have? It's easier and cheaper to do."

Yeah for someone who really doesn't have much documented about any fights, they might as well made up some ultimate ninja warrior and put him in the game. Have the Mortal Combat characters in the game or something, its basically the same thing.
