Thats why I was asking. Tanaka's first start was Thursday against Toronto. I believe that was when Solarte played his first game as well.

It seems like it. They have Tanaka and Abreu and everyone else in. They even included Schoop from the Orioles.

I think the April (8)th date was just a typo.
The roster updates are always on Mon.

I'm pretty disappointed thus far with the roster update. I can't figure out why guys that were in the game last year have returned with generic faces. There are still many players whom were in the game last year with a player portrait and head scan that still remain missing. I don't know whether it's because of contract or what, but I don't understand why many added players returned to the game with generic created faces; Sizemore and Olt just to name a couple. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but on the Vita version those generic faces are pretty nightmare inducing.

Guys like Brett Jackson and Josh Vitters were both in the game last year from day one, but both seem to be missing from the Cubs roster.

I don't know if I missed it or what, but is there a reason as to why so many players disappeared from '14?

Both Vitters and Jackson didn't play in the Majors last season. That's why they and others aren't in.

Guys like Grady Sizemore and Chone Figgins were in last year's game as Free Agents, but neither played in MLB last year.

The only way a player stays in the game is if he was on a 40 man roster and was injured for the season. Guys like Jackson and Vitters never got called up last year for the Cubs and neither was injured and out for the year.
