MLB 14 The Show Available As Day 1 Digital Download at 12:01 AM EST, April 1st (PS3)

MLB 14 The Show will be available at 12:01 AM EST on April 1st as a Day 1 digital download for PS3 users.

Unfortunately, for those of you waiting for the PS Vita version, you will have to wait for the PlayStation Store to update later in the day.

I didnt have to remove my preorder, thats odd. Curious how fast is your downloading? When I started mine was at 273 minutes for part 1 of 2. Does that sound normal? My download became available at 12:45 AM EST had to search for the game and "re-purchase" it at no charge then I could download it

Ok, thanks. Im curious to how long others are taking to download. I still show 240 minutes for part 1 of 2. I wish now I would have just bought the disc, but didnt want to bother my wife with having to pick it up tomorrow for me, since I cant really drive with all the pain meds Im on.

I'm at 42%. Game should be ready around 3am. Downloading at about 20MBPS. I have 50MBPS download speed through my provider.

Thanks, Im at 195 minutes now for part 1 of 2. With the top bar showing 61% and the bottom bar showing 30% whatever that means. My wife said we have the fastest Internet there is, so I figured it would be faster than this, but I dont know anything about all this technology stuff. I wasnt even sure I could figure out how to download it,lol.

If I have 105 mbps how long should it take to download?

LOL, she is the brains of the household when it comes to the technology stuff. Also for marital bliss you have to let them think they have some good qualities other than just looks. It took me a practice marriage to learn that

My service provider just told me to upgrade to 105 mbps I had to pay an 249 installation fee. They have lost their minds!!!

Wow, thats crazy. I have infinity comcast or something like that where Im at, and our computers are fast. Plus its rare my PS3 ever loses connection, although I dont ever play online, but it is always connected and rarely disconnects.

I never dreamed it would be taken this long to download though. Only other game I have digital is Farming Simulator and it downloaded in like 4 minutes, although Im sure its not nearly as big as MLBTS is, but still this is taken forever.

Im down to 152 minutes, with the top bar at 91% and the lower bar shows 45%. Not sure what the 2 bars means, maybe the top is part 1 and the bottom is the game as a whole.

Could it be its just extremely slow because of how many are downloading right now. I wondered about this and thought about just going to bed and downloading tomorrow, but then I was worried my PS3 would be down for several hours while downloading this game, and I would be stuck twiddling my thumbs all day,lol.

I sure hope nothing get corrupted, cause if I ever have to redo this i wont be very happy going thru this BS again.

Yeah, and Im afraid to download in background and adjust any settings so it turns off, so Im in it for the long haul I guess. I dont want it to finsh and my PS3 stay on till I get up. The pain meds Im on makes me not get up once I go to bed. They dont make me sleepy like a normal person, but once I do hit the bed an go to sleep I can wake up till they wear off.

Plus my wife ordered me some Kentucky Bourbon barrel beer that I drank today and its potent,lol. She felt bad because of my health issues that I wasnt able to go to opening day in Cincinnati cause I go every year, and that beer is my favorite beer that I get at the Moerlein House near GABP every year. So she did her best to make my day as good as possible by getting me my beer, and making me skyline chilli. I know with the meds and beer once I hit the hay I might not wake up for a day,lol.

Yeah she is pretty good. She definitely does more for me than I do for her. I definitely wouldnt ever win any husband of the year awards ever,lol. Sometimes I wonder why she has stuck it out with me, heck the way I use to be before being married its a wonder she ended up marrying me to begin with. Now she is stuck with a broken down old man who she is probably going to be pushing around in a wheel chair at some point, and Im not even rich,lol.

Any fellow Australians trying to work out how to get this game?

As far as I can tell, it's not available via Australian PSN. Do I need to have an American credit card to fund the wallet in my American account? It's 2014. It really shouldn't be this complicated to download a game.
