Looking for the best legendary college hoops roster for NBA 2K14? SELLAZ32, SHH4UA and VTCRB have created it for the 360 version. Please read all of the details below and let us know what you think!

IMPORTANT
***- If you are connected to Xbox Live, the game WILL FREEZE during the team selection process IF you wait for the team info to cycle past the lineups. The game is trying to retrieve online stats data and will crash. No way around this at this stage. To be safe, I simply disconnect from Live. But as long as you are conscious of this and don’t let the screen sit too long, it’s fine. How long is too long? When it freezes it’s been too long...***

Wondering if you could add the 1997 Minnesota Gophers final four team. That was a great team that played the National Champion Kentucky Wildcats tough.

That is an interesting team...we will add it to our consideration list.

Got some ideas.
2014 Witchita State
2013 Michigan
2013 Indiana
2010 Butler

And even though they weren't at all a CLASSIC team or any team you would look back and add them to this roster but it would be kinda cool to have the 2013 Florida Gulf Coast duck city team!

http://www.operationsports.com/forums/ea-sports-ncaa-basketball-rosters/280537-ncaa-09-classic-teams-research.html. If you have NCAA 09 then the link I've attached might help in updating some of the missing players. The only problem is you would have to compare both the attached listing to the actual game listings and then fill in some of the blanks since NBA 2k14 has extra ratings areas.

I'd like to add to what someone already mentioned about considering the '98-'99 Auburn team. They were the preseason favorites that year to win it all. Chris Porter was on the cover of SI, and they were ranked in the top 3 throughout the season. Probably would have made a deeper run if Porter hadn't gotten suspended for the final 8 games.

They also had exciting PG Doc Robinson and future NBAer Mamadou N'diaye. I remember rooting for this team back in the day. Hope y'all would consider them! I can dig up some info if needed.

They sure are getting a lot of love lately on this thread....I will do my best to set aside my Bama bias and consider them...lol. I went back and looked and they really DID have a great season. I also like the idea of representing more schools.

I just started reading posts like this about 3 or 4 months ago but definitely happy to help. I've recently purchased College Hoops 2k8 and owned NCAA 09 but never really liked it due to not being able to used classic teams in season mode. The link I attached makes that possible as I can replace the 09 UCLA Bruins with the 68 UCLA Bruins by changing the profiles of the players and now have a decent simulation with decent graphics for an entire season! That is when I realized the information might help you in polishing off the 68 Bruins in your 2k14 game. On a different note: I've really enjoyed re-playing the 83 championship game with it's awesome graphics and clean game-play. Akeem really was an awesome player and your update really shows that ...

2005 Washington Huskies were an excellent team. Nate Robinson, Brandon Roy, and the rest of the starting five rounded out with athletic wing players such as bobby jones, tre Simmons and will conroy. Finished 29-6, 1 seed in the west. Talk about a forgotten team... Averaged 86.5 Ppg good for second best in the country.

2008-09 Michigan State spartans. They went to the championship, the next year they went to the final four. Had Big ten POTY Kalin Lucas, Travis Walton, Durrell Summers, Raymar Morgan, and 2nd round draft pick Goran Suton. Also had Draymond Green, Korie Lucious, Delvon Roe, and Chris Allen.

1st off I'm a huge fan of classic rosters especially College rosters....

I haven't played much of 2K B-Ball since my Alumni Rosters for College Hoops 2K8 but I'm going to grab this file this weekend just for these teams.

As for Len Bias I agree with this guy he is absolute must have for any college classic rosters.

Bias was a beast and the guy was closest thing to Jordan IMO that will ever see on the court.

North Carolina at Maryland, 1984 (Jordan - Len Bias)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4u4MdSGSDo

"NBA Scout"
Bias impressed basketball fans with his amazing leaping ability, his physical stature and his ability to create plays, and was considered one of the most dynamic players in the nation. By his senior year, scouts from various National Basketball Association teams viewed Bias as the most complete forward in the Class of 1986. According to Celtics scout Ed Badger, "He's maybe the closest thing to (Chicago guard) Michael Jordan to come out in a long time. I'm not saying he's as good as Michael Jordan, but he's an explosive and exciting kind of player like that."[6] Jordan was then in his second professional season with the Chicago Bulls.

As for a Maryland team I can tell you right now the best squad to add would be the 83-84 Terps.

They had Bias, Adrian Branch (silky Smooth wing player in the mode of Reggie Williams of the Hoyas), Ben Coleman (physical inside player) Keith Gatlin, Jeff Atkins and Herman Veal.

They had 3 double figure scorer's that year Coleman 15.3, Bias, 15.0 and Branch 13.0.

That team went 24-8 and won the ACC Championship but lost to Illinois in the Mideast Regional's 72-70.

The following year they went 25-12 and lost in the Southeast Regional Semifinal to Villanova.

Bias (19) and Branch (18) were a two man wrecking crew and they combined to avg 47 PPG. Gatlin, Tom Jones and Terry Lewis were other key contributors on 84-85 team.

I would also like to see a DePaul team added to this list of teams during the days of Mark Aguirre.

Their 78-79 team lost to Indiana St his Freshman year in the Final Four.

Or you could go with any of the teams the following year that featured Aguirre and Terry Cummings which was a flat out sick Forward tandem.

Well let me stop here because I get carried away when talking about classic teams and players.

Not trying to be pushy but how close are you to having this converted over to work for PS3. I am thinking of getting the game and with this available for PS3 I would definitely get it.

Man...I worked my butt off to port it last week..but had issues getting the file loaded through Bruteforce. I bought the necessary red MC tabs to do it...but apparently there are some different aspects to the ps3 files as Exogenisis was having freezing at weird times on ps3. I am on vacation this week...but plan on trying to get it figured out soon. Thanks for the interest my man!

You guys are killin' me...Absolutley killin' me.

I told myself there's no way I'm buying 2k14. I have held strong for 6 months...

I've seen this project and kept tabs on it. But I have 2k8 with updated rosters and can roll with that.

But then you guys kept adding teams...Still held my ground.

Then you dropped the "One Shining Moment" video...Crap, felt weak in the knees...

Today, Xbox dropped the digital download for 2k14 to $30...Final straw!!

Now I have so much work to do...

1. Pick 32 of your already completed 44 teams.
2. Find a piece of paper and cut it into 32 equal parts.
3. Write down a team name on each of those pieces.
4. Find a hat and put all the teams in it.
5. Find another piece of paper and draw up a bracket with 16 on each side.
6. Draw from the hat and fill in the bracket.
7. Play each game(all 31 of them) and determine who is the greatest team.

And then, once all the teams are released I have(get) to do it all over again but with a full 64 team bracket.

I hope you guys are happy with what you have done to me...I will no longer be able to finish Borderlands 2, I will never be able to raise the Cup in my NHL 13 season, and I will never win that elusive Online Dynasty NCAA title...

But I say Thank You!!!
