MLB 14 The Show Releases on May 6th For PS4

MLB 14 The Show will be released for the PS4 on May 6th, according to their Facebook and Twitter feed.

As most of you already know, the PS3 and Vita versions will be released on April 1st. More details can be found here and if the embedded video (no gameplay shown) doesn't work for you, click here.

I'm glad the game is coming out May 6th. that just over 1 month into baseball season which isn't bad at all. I'll just watch real baseball and check the forums everyday after April 1st to see people's gameplay videos and screenshots (Youtube as well) to hold me over until then.

Best game cover ever. Awesome work mlbtheshow team. BTW Im not a Cabrera's fan but I respect him, so its a genuine comment, great job to the cover design guy or team.

Call me a pessimist...but the stadiums and crowd specifically can't look that good in game, can they?

Anyone think they might of made it look better for the trailers purpose, or does everyone think they took it right out of the game and this is actually how it's going to look in game? Because if that's the case, that's by far the best looking crowd/stadium art work on next gen.

My money is on this being the way it'll look in game.

In all honesty, I think it will look better than that in the final build. There's still a ton going on with it and refinements being made. Also, there was a screenshot of McCutchen a long time ago standing at a podium (in that exact suit) with a green screen behind him. It's quite possible this is from an old build. That, or they filmed him in front of the green screen and then just added the ballpark background today.

Regardless, it looks fantastic. I can't wait to see it in more detail without the blur. Plus, everyone knows it looks 10x better on your TV and in motion. The 1080p 60 fps (if they can reach it) won't hurt either!

Same here. First thing I'm doing when I get my college refund money is going to the PS4 PS Store and pre-ordering that. This is the only game that deserves a midnight download when it's out. My body is ready!
