Madden NFL 25 News Post

Over the years the Madden series has removed quite a few features the fans loved. Many times they were removed because the NFL wouldn't sign off on them.

Check out the article written by Jon Robinson at SI Extra Mustard and find out which features are gone because of the No Fun League.

Everyone always says it, but no one ever provides proof. It's nothing but speculation that I have seen. They were still there in the PS2 games, so did the NFL really remove them or did the detail required of the PS3/XBox 360 require too much time to get in the game? I think it's the latter. Until someone shows me PROOF, I won't believe it (because again- they were still in the PS2 version of the game!)
I believe you're missing the point. All of the things that were removed due to the NFL's say so, are still in past games before they were removed, the same as tattoos. There is no other reason why tattoos would not be in the game, as every other sports game that EA makes has players with their tattoos, besides Madden, because of the NFL trying to protect an image they never had to begin with.

I think the point about every other EA games proves the point about it being the NFLs decision.

This is an incorrect assumption.

So the BIG Question I have now:

Is this the reason why we have not seen any additional or improvements to called penalties during the game?

It's okay they will be back as new features sooner or later

Only NFL licensed game in town. It could play like tecmo bowl and I'd still buy it.

At the end of the day, we are playing the version of Madden that the NFL wants us to play. I think some problems fall on that and others fall on development teams, the one year cycle, and The Ea brass. (The guys above the development guys)

They need to put the dynamic attendance back as far as the connected franchise goes. I know in MLB The Show, if your team sucked, it'll show in the attendance. I say that because it make when a franchise moves to another city that much more realistic.
