They essentially are, but I would argue that the Cubs have a better minor league system than the Astros (I am biased as a Cubs fan) and therefore would be easier to turn around in The Show. Also the Astros likely got the nod from a lot of people simply by virtue of finishing last in the majors for the last 3 years (with a decent likelihood of doing so again this year as well).

Very similar to what I do. I play 1 game in each series then all playoff games.

It will be the same as every year. The boys in blue.

Not really sure what San Diego has on the farm, I haven't looked too much into them yet. I'm getting it for PS4 so I have a while before I have to make a final decision.
Padres farm is pretty solid. I think you may want to look into Milwaukee as well. They have no WS and unlike the 3 you mentioned, have a horrible farm (worst in baseball). They are talented BUT the window to win is about 1 or 2 years before weeks and Ramirez really decline or just leave and Braun will be 33 or 34 in 2 seasons also

Why do I feel like the only one on earth who doesn't enjoy the Brewers uniforms and I absolutely can't stand Miller park? I can't be alone on this.

I never said that Matt Harvey couldn't be use in MLB 14 The Show, I meant by real life that he won't be back until 2015.

I wish that they would bring back the ability to switch franchises. I loved taking a bad team, building them up and then trying again with another. They should bring that feature back for franchise.
