I would bet as long as we have the ability to save to disk, edit rosters and share them, you can never really fix the hex issues....they can always slip through...

I think your best bet is just keeping the jerseys off the disc and finding a better way to drop them in...I can imagine them leaking that stuff would be bad for business,..but you can't handcuff the community like this again...

Keep restricting your customers because of a few people from years ago and watch how bad for business this tactic becomes.

It'll actually be worse on the business side, lol...

If they NBA can't trust them to keep this stuff under wraps....who knows how they'll feel about granting permission in the first place...and who knows if it's actually a breach of a contract and resulted in some kind if compensation...

Same with the players....if Barkley saw himself in 2k14 CG, he'd have a good case to take action if he wanted...

I'm with you though, they need to find a way to work it out...

Can guys still hex now and share the files offline? Current gen in speaking of?

Yes we can. I don't know if anyone's uploaded any recent ones to download though. Think there's a community roster here on the 360 going around that's being hex edited.

On current gen, 2k removed this stuff (jerseys, cyberfaces hidden, etc.) from the disk itself and you download the latest online data/rosters to get anything they add.

The problem currently is how it doesn't work with previous rosters if it does.

I think this isn't the only solution that's all I'm saying because it's working against the customers in areas currently moreso than hackers

We can still share hex edited rosters on 2K Share. As long as it's a clean base and used RED MC. If it was a hex edited roster using a hex editing tool, it was a pain.

A better idea is to announce all this crap from the NBA, and 2K has these things hidden w/ codes (like old times.) This stuff is effecting everyone. I can't use any new jerseys on my own CG project because of the same reason you guys can't get the jerseys universally in different modes (Online Data + what roster is being used)

Like TBH, we all know that there's going to be special unis, either keep it the way it is, make it hidden again for NG and use the code idea cause we haven't discovered how to mod NG 2K, or act like Live and have them already in game.

I'm not a proponent of the sleeved jerseys but I can say that I really love the Latin designs, especially the Spurs' uniform.

Hoping we actually see the court and shoe updates before the season is done. Updated jerseys are nice and I kind of like all the selections the Spurs now have.

The jerseys are part of the roster update. You need the new rosters if you want the new jerseys. So you have to create a new association or mycareer to use them.

Love comments like this from the new guys who just join. Always good for a chuckle.

Man, I hope they never decide to make this game more like soccer. Because then the touchdowns will have too many hat tricks.

PLEASE ADD THE HEADBANDS IN MYGM MODE...

WHAT A HELL ...

Why can't they just do it like NCAA Football does and make it like a downloadable patch? Never have a problem getting new uniforms in My Dynasty mode.

I'm pretty sure some of those devs are looking for work now since there are no more college video games.
