I found something a bit puzzling in the screenshots of player attributes.
Austin Jackson has a CON R of 75. His career BA vs rhp is .291, 2013 BA vs rhp .296
Nate Schierholtz has a CONR of 72. His career BA vs rhp is .265, 2013 BA vs rhp .262
Any way you slice it Jackson hits rhp 25 to 30 points higher yet they have nearly the same CONR.
Confused about that am I.
As far as I remember, the ratings are based off of the weighted three-year average. Then .281 (Jackson) and .275 (Schierholtz) unweighted so they make sense.

Also, there are other attributes that contribute to hitting ability other than just Contact RHP, correct?

That's right, I forgot.
Thanks.
I noticed ACC as an attribute. I sold my ps3 and therefore don't have the game but I don't remember that in the previous versions. Is that acceleration?

Sure of course... it looks like player attributes aren't changing for the new game.
