NASCAR '14 News Post

It is about that time again folks.

Forty-three drivers and teams all have hopes of winning the Great American Race, better known as the Daytona 500. If you’re a video game fan of the sport than you already knew that, and you also know that Eutechnyx and new publisher Deep Silver are on the verge of releasing NASCAR The Game 14', a fully licensed title that gives people the chance to jump behind the wheel of their favorite 800 horse-powered machine and hit the track.

We had the chance to sit down with Ed Martin, the Executive Vice President of Eutechnyx, to discuss NASCAR '14 and why fans should be excited to get their hands on this year’s title.

Appreciate it Proof - hoping to have it out by Wed/Thursday of next week. The shipping delay because of weather hurt a little bit as I was hoping to have all weekend with the title, and get the review out by Tuesday -

Anyone pick this up yet? If so I will make an impressions thread.

Even though every fiber of my being is yelling at me not to, I grabbed the Steam version of it.

I'm going in the total opposite of what I did with Inside Line...I'm not expecting anything fixed and for it to have all of the exact same problems, so anything that IS fixed will just be a bonus.

I'm going to pick PS3 copy up at lunch but won't be able to play until after work. I'm strictly an offline gamer so I can provide some impressions on the AI & such

Good that's what I am looking forward to hearing about. Won't be able to pick it up til tomorrow.

Impression thread is open and ready when folks have them to post.

I'm going to give the PC version a whirl at lunch--so I'll have a little under an hour to try. Anything particular you want looked at, Aggies?

I don't go to lunch until Noon PT, so it's a good 3 hours away. But I usually try to run a specific test pattern (10% race with 4x wear at a plate track, mile and a half, and whatever time left on a short track).

If you have anything specific you want to know about, I'll take a look at it as soon as I can unless others beat me to it. Considering there's like 5 of us on this board, it's unlikely unless Bob or Manny chime in lol
