Madden NFL 25 News Post

With the draft still two months away, it is never too early to look at the top prospects coming into next year's game and what they could bring as game changers.

When looking for top incoming talent in Madden, you have to look at guys who you'll tangibly see change the game, so sorry o-linemen and many defensive players. Here are a few guys you should have on your radar as guys who can change the dynamic of a team in Madden next season:

QB - Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M)- Who knows how his pro career ends up as he is a little undersized -- but in Madden he will a very dynamic player who could be very fun to play with.
WR - Mike Evans (Texas A&M)- Evans was Manziel's favorite target in college and has plenty of size and speed. On the right team, he could be a dynamic playmaker.
WR - Sammy Watkins (Clemson)- Watkins was a dynamic player in college, with plenty of speed to boot. As a wideout in the NFL, he will have a chance to be a great receiver, especially in the slot.
QB - Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville)- Bridgewater is a deadly accurate passer who can fling the ball all over the field. His size at 6' 3" is good, and he has just enough speed to be elusive in the pocket. His ratings should translate into Madden pretty well.
QB - Blake Bortles (UCF)- Bortles is big and strong with a big arm and enough foot speed to give him enough of a dual threat. He had a monster Fiesta Bowl which catapulted him into the national conversation. If he gets on the right team, he could end up a fun player to run with.
DE - Jadeveon Clowney (South Carolina)- Clowney is a physical specimen and if he finds himself on the right defense, will be an instant impact player. It's possible Clowney will be the highest rated rookie in the game and he'll be a big impact player for years to come in any franchise.

What rookies do you think will be big impact players in next year's game?

De'Anthony Thomas. Just a big play waiting to happen.
I played NCAA 14 with the downloaded rosters and imported the draft classes to Madden 25. He came in the 2016 draft with 99 and 98 speed. Darn right I traded for him and put him on special teams. Dude was ridiculous.

Not trying to be rude, the Chiefs would be a great fit for him, but they likely won to many games to get him. Basically the only way the Chiefs draft Mike Evans is if they trade up.

I did the same thing. He was drafted as the 32nd pick in the first round. Never saw the field in 2 seasons with a CPU team. I traded for him. He's my KR, PR and 3rd down RB. So so fast. He is super skinny and looks a little weird on the game, but man he's blazing.

There's a ton of talent in this draft on both sides of the board. Looking forward to seeing where the top WRs go.

That was a stupid copy/paste error.

I honestly can't wait to try to get my hands on Jordan Matthews and Tevin Reese. Reese is a speed demon I can use in the slot and Jordan Matthews would be the #2 receiver behind Dez.

Seeing as those guys you listed are all the most popular names right now they will all be completely overrated as rookies often are. From an enjoyment standpoint I'll say Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, I think he can be the next Jimmy Graham type and really open things up if used properly.

So many talented players, my mouth is watering thinking about potential teams worth using. Alas, the players I look forward to the most are: Derek Carr, Sammy Watkins, Aaron McDonald, Cllinton Dix, Calvin Pryor, Rashede Hageman, and most of all Darqueze Denard!

The 1 player I want to use in Madden 15, bc the new game is called 14, is Melvin Gordon. Vikings need him to replace AP in the near future.

I think you should read up on Mario Williams' stat line a bit before you throw in the B word when mentioning his name.

More than half of his 8 seasons he has had more than 10 sacks. In fact, he only had two seasons with fewer than 8 sacks... His rookie year and 2011, when he got hurt in week 5 and missed the rest of the year.

If Williams had played in New York, Philly or Dallas, he would have gotten more attention. Sure, he doesn't have DeMarcus Ware numbers, but he was far from a bust.

Logan Thomas is gonna be a beast on Madden but probably have a lower rating.
