R.B.I. Baseball 14 News Post

It’s the 68th episode of the Press Row Podcast, an audio re-broadcast of our most recent Press Row Hangout that came on the heels of the surprise announcement of the “return” of RBI Baseball. Join host Richard Grisham along with Operation Sports’ Chris Sanner, PastaPadre’s Bryan Wiedey, and ThatSportsGamer’s T.J. Lauerman as they discuss their reactions to the announcement, some guesses as to what it may actually be, and why Major League Baseball took it on themselves to make a game when no one else (other than The Show on Sony’s platforms) will. I just don't understand all the secrecy with this game as well as the other. Why can't the developer just let us know what it will be?

Nice discussion guys. Hopefully, in 2 weeks you'll be discussing some of the details about RBI.

I agree. It'd be nice to get some details from either game.
It could be that neither company wants to reveal before the other.
What if RBI is, in fact, an arcadey version of baseball. Immediately after MLBAM reveals this, SCEA pops up with some vids and screenies showing off the sim nature of their title.

Or it might just be that both are waiting for the NFL to wrap-up so they can have their own spotlight?

Confused, I am.
