I'm trying with hyphens and at the menu where we put the ABA ball cheat code (payrespect).

Home -> Features -> Codes

Enter code with Captial letters and dashes included. Be super careful. Every one has worked.

I guess all of these codes are a form of acknowledging they messed the next-gen launch versions up. Hopefully, 2K gets everything moving in a good direction next year.

We should never be in this situation. I just want to play the game and not have to do all this extra stuff after paying money to play.

The 2K servers are down right now and it doesn't look like many people can play the game. Hooray for cloud-dependent products. 2K has done a lot of great things and I love playing NBA 2K13, but NBA 2K14 is a buggy mess and the next-gen version is heading in the wrong direction. I think most people here point these things out because we love the series and want to make sure someone knows we feel it's made some bad missteps. I returned mine the moment I discovered I couldn't play MyGM without connecting to the 2K server, which happened to be down at that time too. Someone was kind of enough to point out that there's something you can do with disconnecting your Internet connection to play offline, but who wants to do that over-and-over? Not me.

yeah you need to enter the codes in the nba2k game itself i think under the features section of the menu within the game.... its not like most redemption codes that you use on other games for the xbox 360 home screens...and for me capital letters do not work, I actually use all lowercase letters and you have to type the dashes as well....hope that helps...I have been able to redeem quite a few of these codes so I even bought some stuff for myteam mode to try it again....

well, today i did have to use capital letters, maybe they changed it, the lower case letters got rejected when I used them on the first attempt
