F1 2013 News Post


Codemasters have released a 360 patch for F1 2013. We have posted the details below. No official word on PS3 and PC patches.
  • Rebalanced the audio mix to make the players engine louder and other cars quieter when racing in a bunch
  • Corrected the material for the grass on New Delhi
  • Fixed the equal performance handling files for specific cars on three tracks
  • Fixed an issue with the AI having the incorrect amount of fuel after changing from one shot qualifying to short or full qualifying
  • The pit lane camera option will now save correctly

^ And I saw the reply count on the index page and thought we had a poignant reply to the news of the patch... these spam posts are really permeating this forum here lately

I'm really surprised they went to the trouble to issue this patch for no more than it fixed. The force feedback in this game is so lifeless that it almost seems broken to me. I have to use some artificial settings to make it only slightly preferable to none at all. F1 2011 had the best force feedback I'd experienced in the series, but when I try to use those values in this game; it really does feel broken.

They made a big change to force feedback in the 2012 game, which is why your old settings won't feel right now. No problems at all for me, PS3 with DFGT wheel, feels great and can really push the cars to the limit.

Wish they had this game in disc format locally.
