NBA 2K14 Next-Gen: MyTEAM - Domination Mode

With the launch of NBA 2K14 for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One approaching quickly, 2K today announced details for the new and improved MyTEAM mode for next-gen NBA 2K14. MyTEAM on next gen will allow players to test their team-building skills against the best the NBA has to offer in Domination mode by facing off against actual NBA teams. New to MyTEAM on next gen are single player and online tournaments - winners will have opportunities to earn rare players, collectibles and much more. MyTEAM also introduces new color rarities: Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby level cards that fans can collect (or discover) to bolster their roster.

MyTEAM for NBA 2K14 also includes features fans have come to love, such as Road to the Playoffs. Now players can also brand their team with new team logos and uniforms, with new tournaments, players, uniforms and more updating in real time throughout the season.

I know a ton of us will be doing Twitch and UStream streams the day of release. In fact, i'll be doing a MyGM stream for all the guys interested in how the mode works.

The Jeff hornacek card has me hopefully that we will atleast get the same legend teams as current gen. I'd love to see a mode similar to either the jordan challenge, nbas greatest (2k12), or what ea does for the nhl moments (with both classic and modern moments). This my team stuff has never interested me though. I would just do a fantasy season if I wanted to switch teams up, or just rearrange rosters to my liking and start a season.

I thought this was 2k not EA.....not giving enough information about game play to fill you up.

I wonder if each mode has it's on currency now. Looking at MT makes me think that stands for MyTeam currency.

Before I wouldn't have minded if they skimped on the online association cause I thought we were getting a stripped down game. But seeing modes like this in the game and the work being put towards it I will now be kind of pissed if OA isn't available in some form.

MT= MyTeam points= possible MC= MyCareer points= earning points for each mode exclusively= better prices for accessories
