NBA 2K14 Adds Julius "Dr. J" Erving to the 1977 Philadelphia 76ers Roster

2K Sports has added Dr. J back to the game. Today they pushed an update that adds him back to the 1977 Philadelphia 76ers rosters. Maybe we see Kareem added soon? Either way, it's good to see.

Finally and they made his game right. Finger rolls, beast in open floor, even a version of his cup dunk. Awesome

Nope he wasn't there. No png0766, png0870, and png2301. It was maybe an update to the game, but he was never on the disk.

My theory is that it IS POSSIBLE for 2K to create cyberfaces/art files and apply them to a new roster.iff file (the "Reset Rosters" roster) and online data.

The way they did it they can add like the 92-93 Suns, Kareem, Reggie, 00s Teams, they literally can do anything in terms of adding classic player CF/teams as well as actually giving missing players from teams cyberfaces.

When??? I never saw it. I have been waiting for all these features to be released and once they started bringing up myGM and **** like that I was waiting to hear word on the classics. If that's the case and classics are in then I'm one happy camper.... I just need to see this tweet though, and if it's from more than 4 months ago I don't know how much stock I would put into it.

First two players I created because they were not in the game. Did a decent enough job but not the same.

I pray that Kareem will swallow his pride and come to his senses like Dr. J did, so his fans can use Kareem and that skyhook virtually just like in 2k12, but even smoother and better.

He has the cup dunk he did on Coop it's jus nt done right. He doesn't rock the baby to sleep, more like gently lays the baby down. But in game he does more finger rolls and things then I've seen any other player do

Nice work 2K! I really love the fact that there showing they still care for the legends. I was beggining to think they were becoming an after thought
