Check out the latest NBA 2K14 next-gen video from FranchisePlaySports, which not only shows the GameSpot video at a higher resolution, but it also shows some never seen before screenshots.
What's so special about it? That exact same screen is in current gen as well. In 2k13 too, maybe even 2k12 can't remember.
Anyway from the little i can see the gameplay looks pretty much the same. It just looks like graphics and presentation were the main focus. But i'll reserve judgement until after the game has been released.

For a second there I thought this video was a real game. Holy crap this looks amazing!
It looks like he starts to side step until Curry starts his sprint (which I wouldn't do if I were using the ball handler - hate turbo abuse....)
It is apparent its coded to emulate the user (ball handlers) speed.....
Nice point out on this one JasonWilliams55 - if 2K just tightened up on little things like this moving forward (ie; bring in a quicker side step animation) then the game will slowly edge closer to real life appearance.....god knows they've closed the gap between video game and real life dramatically already!!
I hear ya, but if ya watch closely the USER starts turboing w/ Curry immediately as the blue bar turns red around the screen area, so Klays turn and run is not due to turbo being pressed and more due cause of spacing.
Same thing w/ Lee on the block, he should be boxing/posting and back-peddling instead of turning and running.
Why is Thompson(?) not running to the corner at the end of that play?
It looks great otherwise but it's incredibly frustrating to not see players look for the corner three.
I realize I've said this before but I'm gonna keep repeating it everytime I see a video show players not taking advantage of something they should be programmed to understand.
Run to the corner in that play. No need to cut back. Why even do that?

Ah - again very nice point out........ that dismisses my point and suddenly I am a little disappointed haha..... not a big deal I guess, but definitely with ya on that running/turning animation needing attention.
