Lol at theses things's names though. Smartglass.

Good question though. That's one area where Next gen is really promising.

Don't know if this has been answered and can't find it anywhere.

Is roster share on PS4?

If Wang says there's no sliding due to the new motion engine, how come in the Gamestop clip of the next gen, players were sliding?

How about a companion app where you could easily call plays and make substitutions?

If Wang says there is no sliding, then there is no sliding.

Honestly, don't know why that's the case in NBA 2K. Next gen Madden's true step is suppose to eliminate sliding I'm guessing, but in released gameplay videos, sliding is definitely apparent. Even if you look at Backbreaker from a few years back, even though it's suppose to be physics based, sliding also happens.

I wish anyone who has ever coded for any type of video game would chime in on why it's so difficult to eliminate the sliding.

There's always gonna be sliding because they players aren't actually running like you or I do. They aren't moving by pushing against the ground with their feet. The best they can do is have an engine that dictates where a person's foot needs to go to justify each and every little movement.

Sometimes the engine can't account for everything and they move without their feet appropriating it.

It happens. It's life.

No sliding can read as almost no sliding.

Well tell IGN to stop lying because they said the new engine means no sliding. Just like you said the engine dictates player movement, if they implement and engine that has players have to take actual steps each and every time sliding can be eliminated. IGN seems to think it has and they know videogames.
