NBA 2K14 Next-Gen TV Spot

The NBA 2K14 next-gen TV spot is live, with a new look at the next-generation of NBA 2K. The video shows off LeBron James in some insanely atmospheric lighting and then cuts to several gameplay sequences. A pretty exciting, although limited, look at the next generation of 2K basketball.

Agreed. It's annoying. It's best to let the game do the talking rather than the purpose. If the game is not remotely close to any of the trailers, it's going to be an extreme disappointment.

Maybe we're over digging. He does run his own site and I'm sure his twitter is for his side of personal/business too in addition to 2k. So yeah I'm just going to wait. No more hype bs or interpreting common tweets as hype. I'll just wait. I have faith in ld2k. I'll take his word for it

I believe in 2k but they need to chill with hyping us up for something then making us wait another week to get it i hope next week be mind blowing i got a feeling it will i think they may be only game no just porting oner to NG but whole new experience

It still has a better marketing campaign and approach than Next gen NBA 2K, even CG NBA 2K14.

I wouldn't have overwhleming excitement just based on Ronnie's hyperbole tweets. Remember when Jay Z's intro videos were "one of the biggest announcements in 2k history"?

So 2K will be releasing next gen info this coming week? I thought they would be doing this 1 week ago or something or am I mistaken?

No to be fair, I think we've just been getting a lot of "not long now" and "it's close" from LD2K..... nothing really indicative of a date......

There was a bit of controversy over a tweet that read "one more sleep" or something along those lines, but officially he could have been referring to anything....

Then finally on Saturday (Friday US) we got something about "next week".....

So officially, 2K have not misled us.......

This is how I recall things anyway....

yeah and last year the biggest announcement in 2K history turned out to be Jay Z's involvment in the game. Yes we miss those cheap gold overlays.

Key word there is "officially". The hinting was annoying. Would have been best to not saying anything at all.

Yeah we aren't teenage girls waiting for the next "tweet" from our favorites boy band. We are sports gamers wanting info on a major purchase we are considering making in a few weeks.

Even though I'll be playing other games nba2k is the only reason I'm considering buying near launch. Some footage and detailed info would be nice........I could easily stick with my 360 for madden and BF4
