Cmon 2k
pick dodger is for defensive players. None of those listed should have that sig

Hibbert losing post proficiency.. Rose losing Ankle Breaker.. Harden shot creator.. Lin losing all of sig skills from last year and getting 4 NEW ONES. The Hawks team and how much sig skills 2K removed from them from last year.

It's like the dude who works signature skills, completely wiped all the sig skills on players from last year and just put in all the ones he could remember.Plus Pick Dodger is a worthless skill. Any player can dodge a pick.

I agree Finisher should not be one of Melo's "signatures". He should have retained Hustle Points instead.

I don't think Harden should have closer; he hit 2 gamewinners last season, one of which was goaltending, but maybe they gave it to him for his play in the closing minutes idk

On the flip side, Joe Johnson should definitely have closer because he knocked in 3-4 game tying/winning shots last season, and I think he only missed one

I'm wondering how Klay Thompson doesn't have deadeye, or why they don't substitute Danny Green's Lockdown Defender for Heat Retention

Really hope they remove this in the future. This isn't an rpg it's simulation basketball.

CP3 doesn't have flashy passer? ROFL

Edit: Cp3 also does not have ankle-breaker or Alley-Ooper. DOUBLE ROFL.

OK, how does Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Thornton not have finisher??????
"
Isaiah Thomas
Made 67 percent of layups, attempted 151

Pound-for-pound (Copyright: Allen Iverson) the best layupper around. At a tiny 5-9 in socks, Thomas shouldn’t be able to hit 67.1 percent on these shots. He has had a lifetime of practice against taller players, though.

Thomas hasn’t mastered any one thing in particular. He just has the full layup repertoire. He’ll switch hands when it suits him. He’ll loft it high off the glass like Steve Nash. He’ll shield off contact with his back while scooping the ball forward. He has the up-and-under down.

Seriously, watch this guy at the rim. Better yet, record this guy at the rim, pause right before the layup happens and appreciate how impossible the feat looks. Water can’t find a way through cracks the way a Thomas layup can.

Marcus Thornton
Made 70 percent of layups, attempted 156

Look, I’d be lying if I said I could fully explain Thornton’s layup skill, but he’s been great two years running (69.3 percent on layups last season). He isn’t especially fluid with his moves, but he’s good with either hand. Thornton also doesn’t force anything around the rim. Most of his lay-ins come off assists.

66/SF Royce White - Bruiser, Dimer, One-Man Fastbreak (NEW)

It is interesting that a person who has not played one NBA game has three signature skills.

Can any of these signature skills attributed to him be truly signature or even attributed to him as "skills" if he has yet to even show a single tendency or trend?

Things like this just baffle me.

He should just have a high rebounding rating without the sig skill.

He should also have the Pick and Roll Outlet sig skill since he's great in the P&R. It's not his fault that Curry is just now getting the hang of P&R timing.

Also makes no sense that Carl Landry lost HIS Post Proficiency. He's all about the pump fakes. He only struggles against much longer guys.

I literally think they just gave everyone with A or higher rebounding "Tenacious Rebounding" which begs the point - why even have it?

As for Landry, I don't remember him posting up that much in GSW, Mark Jackson was trying to use him as a stretch 4. But even if that's the case, they shouldn't have taken it away from him just because of one off year. Landry has a great post game

25 people with P&R Maestro is too much. It should be reserved for pick and roll masters like CP3, Nash, Calderon, DWill ect...

I'll go in order of How ridiculous the omission/addition is.

Royce White 3 sigs?!?! No explanation needed

Tim Duncan no break starter, pick & roll outlet or antifreeze?! Seriously, have these people ever watched a spurs game?! C'mon son. Tiago splitter has p&r outlet ffs!

They took away hibbert's post proficiency and gave it to Blake griffin?!?! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha no

Really? No floor general for Rubio or Calderon, but for Kirk hinrich...?

Why remove deadeye from Klay Thompson and Danny granger? Smh

Lou Williams the flamethrower off the bench no longer has microwave? Why?

I'm starting to feel this trend that unless you are Greg Oden, if you were injured, you had skills taken away, it's actually ridiculous.

I could probably go on with this list forever, unreal 2k, just unreal!

I wouldn't even care if the current gen version was only a solid 2k13 1.5...but I'm actually supposed to spend money on game featuring a f*cking fantasy league? This is not even close to the NBA we're watching, what the hell are they thinking? So no release day buy for me for sure. Maybe they'll get their act together with roster updates, but if they don't improve the quality of rosters during the season, 2k won't get any money from me this year.

What is so hard about that? They can't say something like there wasn't enough time or resources available...it was no problem to change all these sig skills, but why on earth is is not possible to change stuff that makes at least a bit of sense?

# 56 Aviator S @ 09/28/13 09:47 PM
Where to start?? Monta Ellis better than dirk? Royce White didn't play a lick in the NBA but gets 3 signature skills?!!? Rudy Gay a 86 with 5 signature skills? Oh lord. Jrue Holiday a 88?? Rondo a 90? What the hell is going on here

# 57 MrBigShot1 @ 09/28/13 10:57 PM
Royce "The Bus Driver" White somehow has one-man fastbreak.

# 58 JTheClip @ 09/28/13 11:07 PM

Did you not watch the playoffs last year? Hibbert was hurt for quite a while last season with a hand injury that hurt his shooting, once he got it healed up he came alive offensively. He also dominated in the playoffs on both ends of the floor. It took him a while but he has finally turned into one of the better C's in the league, even thought that is not saying much as weak as the big man position is now days, but he is now a top 5 C, and should show that this year.

I'm with you man Kobe with an Achilles injury no rating decrease. Rose after injury keeps his rating and gets one man fast break added.

Lol
