NBA 2K14 News Post

We have just posted NBA 2K14 player ratings for every NBA player currently in the game. We will have the player ratings for the Euroleague and Classic teams later today.

Player ratings will fluctuate based off of performance via Dynamic Living Rosters. They will be completely dependent on real-life performances.

Dynamic Living Rosters will affect individual ratings (shot attributes, block, steal, rebound, etc.) daily based on performance.

FYI: These ratings were grabbed from the September 20th roster update.

LeBron's graded an A for Outside Shooting. Why, you ask? He's rated 85 3pt.

Rudy Gay's rated an 86. Why, you ask? Oh nothing, might have something to with his A- graded perimeter defense, which is better than Durant's B+.

It's about time, too, because he did shoot 40.6% from 3-point range last season, making 103 of them. He also had a higher catch-and-shoot percentage than Ray Allen, so I'm confused as to why you think this rating is inaccurate.

Anyways, thanks for the video Steve! Can't wait until next Tuesday!

Can't wait to see the rebounding and mid range shooting ratings. Those usually are 2ks weakest areas that affect game play substantially.

Ray Allen shoots a ton more 3pters than him. Maybe that's why.

Best SG in the game? When did the Rockets get Kobe? Hmm.

For my blazers, Robin Lopez seems low at 68, Thomas Robinson at 74 is a bit high. And I know Meyers Leonard is raw but he's better than a 58. They really underrated his interior scoring. He has no post game which might have caused this but he has great touch around the basket.

thereare only 3 knicks in top 50 3pt shooters from last season. Copeland, melo and Novak. I dont see how JR and Shumpert got those ratings

yeah play me in 2k13 and see how easily harden can drop 40 compared to kobe. He would foul kobe out in first half also lol. 2k even put him as highest value SG in the game over kobe in myteam

Harden = no D, and no mid range. Kobe = no D, best mid range in the league. Harden < Kobe. 5>0.

Meyers also is a MUCH better perimeter shooter than they give him credit for here. F? Please. In my association I moved his 3pt to a 70. Anyone that follows the Blazers knows he can shoot mid and 3s with some proficiency.

Then again, if these attributes were derived solely from statistics it makes sense. I'm not sure he actually shot one last year.

People better not sleep on the Blazers online this year: Lillard, Matthews, Batum, Williams, CJM, Wright, and Crabbe... That is a potent shooting core. Now let's hope the post game has been fixed (maybe Aldridge can hit 50% of his post fade aways this year... ). If so, I'll just surround Aldridge with shooters and have a field day when the double team comes.

looks like they treated cody zeller like a 2nd rounder...

Bradley Beal is 6"5, not 6"3 (even listed at nba.com and espn). I hope they fix it because they had him wrong all year.

not going to argue but bosh has best midrange in the league along with patrick patterson. Just stating facts bro. Stars are only stars because they are popular but many " role players" shoot ALOT better

Steve can you post rating video showing shot ratings instead of grades next time?

Lebron better outside shotter than vince carter, 2K sports are kidding me:
2012-2013 season stats
Lebron James 3PM 103, 3p% 40.6%, Career % 33.7%
Vince Carter 3PM 162, 3p% 40.6%, Career % 37.6%

Top 10 percentage-wise and takes the most difficult shots...sounds about right. Also, KG has better mid range than Velociraptor.

So Ish Smith and Nate Wolters are THAT much better player than John Henson. I DONT go by Overall but NO WAY Ish is 71, Nate is 68 and Henson is 64. Guess the 2k Insider is still there. Great job again. I am still looking thru things.

Edit: Kris Humphries 73, Kelly Olynyk 62. SMH

Edit: Not even gonna list anymore, see this game needs major overhaul as well.

I am the 1st one to agree that OVERALL doesnt matter, but Explain to me WHAT would boost the Smith and Wolters that much higher than Henson, and make Humphries that much Higher over Olynyk(Much better shooter and High IQ). It makes NO sense. IF this was Using the NEW system, then I am Worried about the New Rating system. LOL
