NBA 2K14 Video - MyTeam (Multi, Single & Tiered Tournaments, Play Friends & More

2K Sports has released another NBA 2K14 video. This one showcases the new features in MyTeam. Below are some of the items of interest, check out the video for more details.

Tournaments (2K sets the rules, you can play vs. other users or AI)
Tier Tournaments (Teams consist Bronze, Silver OR Gold players)
Special Tournaments on what's going on in the NBA season
Schedule Mode - Replace an NBA team and go through the schedule with your MyTeam (Earn VC, boosters and new Sapphire players)
Give your team a name, customize your city, new logo cards
Play with Friends and Leader boards

You guys are overreacting about sapphires, LD2K literally just explained that sapphires are improved versions of players probably depending on performance if they are current players or prime versions if they are legends, enough of assuming the players on the screen are what you are gonna get.

You can always buy packs, if you don't enjoy playing vs the CP3, Kobe, KD, LBJ, and D12 line up you're not force to play gold tournaments for gold players.

okay so does that mean they won't be upgrading players on MYTEAM? You see what I'm saying? Why should there be a regular Kevin Durant and a super mega Kevin Durant? Ain't nobody got time for that..

I understand that.

I never stated I didn't enjoy playing vs those lineups. I said I can't wait to play those lineups.

You must be one of the scrubs who uses that type of lineup how hard you are defending it lmao.

Oh well, not trying to bicker about it. Like I said, I can't wait to play the CP3, Kobe, KD, LBJ, and D12 lineups this year.

You got me I'm a scrub and that was my fav lineup.

Hopefully we'll see more then one roster update this year and some themed packs i.e. all star, playoff, Xmas packs

Interesting, they didn't mention anything about Euroleague players in MyTeam. Would be kind of a waste having these players in the game but not using them in a mode where they could benefit. Hopefully they add them in eventually

This is a MyTeam mode where you can play a teams schedule as your MyTeam and has nothing to do w/ Association mode.

Playing MyTeam this yr(2k14) would be pointless to me if its just the same legends as 2k13. I had like 40gold legends in 2k13, but I wouldnt be happy pulling the same ol legends..but if they had new legends like a Reggie Miller,C.Webb,T Mac,etc id want to play the mode even more

Just from what I heard, was that Reggie declined to be in the game.
