NBA Live 14 Release Date Set For November 19th, New Gameplay Screenshot Included

It appears that NBA Live 14 won't make it to launch for the PlayStation 4 -- but only by a couple of days. EA confirmed today in a tweet that NBA Live 14 will release on November 19 of this year -- which is four days after the PlayStation 4 launch and three days before the Xbox One launch.

So after my speculation today on what the launch window wording meant last week from EA, it appears that it meant the game wasn't going to be out at launch for one console, but will be out for another.

Over 50 NBA players have their signature animations in the game. We should see an NBA Live 14 5 on 5 gameplay trailer this week, featuring 100% gameplay.

Very happy to hear that it will be releasing on November 19th. The screenshot looks very good too. I hope they release a video soon though. That would be the icing on the cake.

I'd say Damien's form look good.

Something about them shorts and his legs tho..... I think the top of the form is good just legs look awkward

i like it....sharp...game is looking to have sweeter looking shot releases than 2k. keep it coming...

Also, glad that they fixed the player models. They look more realistic and don't look cartoony with shiny skin tone. Also, they have muscle tone so hopefully people can quit complaining on skinny players.

I don't understand these guys.

A screenshot of three guys' backs and Lillard on the far side with his face and body mostly obstructed?

It's not that the game looks bad. I'm just frustrated because I want to see a "gameplay" screenshot where I can actually see what's going on!

All that needed to be said in the first place. Will still wait until the game is actually on shelves, but this is positive news.

Screen doesn't look bad either. Still need to see more, but again, this is a positive.

Let's keep it Live 14 people...

Game is looking extremely nice, was expecting a better image, but this is looking crisp, clean, details are remarkable. And if it animates like the tech demo video with Kyrie in the gym. It's going to be a beauty in motion as well.

November 22nd Can't get here soon enough.....My Xbox One and some Live 14, can't wait to get the YouTube videos rolling out and some Dynamic Season.

Live 10 was the first game to start getting the models right, I can see a little Live 10 type details in this photo, but on steroids on mass proportions..

They also have different leg types and sizes...I'm liking that too...

Yup. It looks too rigid. Tough to really tell from a screenshot though and he did mo-cap for them so we'll see.

Legs still look too skinny but the game does look clean, but that's been EA's graphical style. Accessories look top notch as always.

For some reason im a little disappointed by the screenshot. It doesnt look bad, and maybe its because im comparing it to the earlier rendered screenshots, but it doesnt look as "next-gen" as I thought. Ill wait for the gameplay video before I jump to any conclusions about the looks of the game.

I am stoked that this is releasing on time. Definitely was pretty nervous when it said launch window thinking the game still was not close to being ready. I am trying to be optimistic that I will play a virtual game of actual basketball online this year.

I guess the "politics" they were talking about were to release it on Nov 15th for the PS4 or on the same day for both. But the gameplay video is coming out this week, can't wait!! Live is back!

Glad to finally have a release date and looking forward to the gameplay video later this week. November can't come soon enough, I have been waiting for a new NBA Live game to play.

I'm loving the way the jerseys are fitting the players. Not too baggy.

The detail in the shoes are great also.

But the player models are GREAT. And that was the biggest question mark everyone had on Live a few months back.

Nov 19 release, sweet i'm on xbox anyways. Screenshot is good. I like the detail in the shoes heaps, and also 'mike brown' is on the bench in the background 'suited up'. Good so far, bring on the Videos!!!

One thing set LIve apart from 2k is their exquisitely-rendered shoes.

In 2k, those shoes feel like a big lump of mess.
