Short but sweet! Gameplay looks really good. Smooth and natural are my thoughts.

A bit of a spoiler for the Lebron mode but it looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Looks like some more Lebron path to greatness gameplay. Looking good for sure, can't wait for the demo to finally drop.

Really like the gameplay here...I think I am going to love the defense this year

Is it me or so the jumpshots look a little fast/ weird?

they are WAY to fast. dont even look realistic. 2k has been going the button tap jumper route alot in the last 3 years. Need to get back to the 2k8 realistic style

I enjoyed that block as well.

Also, the ball seems to have some new trajectories off the rim this year.

Loved how the CPU worked the possession and how it moved the ball around on :15 secs and 1:42 secs, also loved the box out secuence (with tiped ball) on a LBJ missed three.

This is looking good.

P.S:
I do agree, shots timings used to have a little bit more of variance, maybe is 2k form to try and aid the kick out game ?

Fresh off retirement
So Kobe retires then returns in the mode. That's nice. Hope they can implement it in other modes

Definitely interested in PTG now.

because i seen some in the stream then dont see none here
its in there but the flash is for the defense not the offense it seems when jumpshots are taken. Only when on ball defense is played by human on another human and they are in position to challenge the jumper does it show. Well thats what i have seen from all the vids posted so far.

I noticed the rebounding hasnt been touched it still looks terrible.

Offensive rebounds will be a problem once again this year unless they patch it.

That faried block was sweet though

I'm assuming its to make up for the fact that you have to hold the stick? I'm not a fan of the shots I have seen so far...LeBron was the only one that didn't seem like a "flick"

One good sign is that no one has seemed to struggle with dribble/shooting controls...(assuming they weren't using the button)

Im very excited about defense...The recovery to block Haslem would've resulted in one of those defensive "shot in mid air" animations in 2k13...

Jumpshots are a lot faster... Just look at Iman Shumpert on that LD2K vs Ronnie2K gameplay. His jumper is lightning fast. I think it's too make up for the too fast players recovery.

It also looks like to me player models are slightly smaller than before helping the spacing. Wich looks really good.

I still don't feel the rebounding though.

maybe they increased the speed

I hope catching and shooting or catching and finishing will not be a problem especially considering the new controls and the online servers.

I also agree its probably why they sped the shooting up at an unrealistic speed, also nobody has complained and seem to have positive feedback concerning the controls, so I guess their is nothing to be concerned about until we play offline and online. Hopefully we can test the demo online as well.

Anyone notice how blazingly quick Okoye recovered the ball and scored when Lebron blocked his shot at 0:25? McLemore was in perfect position to get the ball but the Okoye just recovered the ball within a blink of an eye and put it back in for two before McLemore or Lebron (his block animation took him totally out of position) could react again. Not a good sign in terms of responsiveness.

I knew I couldn't be the only one noticing the court looked a little bigger. That camera angle was also not able to be replicated in 2k13. The pc guys were the only ones who could through mods but this is actually the real broadcast view where you could see into the second row of the crowd at the bottom of the screen.

So assuming spacing couldnt be fixed, now we have super fast jumpshots.

Game looks decent.

Hopefully ps4 version will be more than just graphics. Ready for spacing issue to be solved.

PC mods don't include camera angles, I recall. I've seen that camera before but I can't remember what it was.

That's the broadcast stadium of the MSG. It's in 2K13.
