Editing tools for FIFA 13 work with the demo, they're available at soccergaming.com. If you need help or whatever you're welcome to PM me.

Downloaded, thanks Brian!

EDIT: Wow Brian, thanks again, that's one heck of a mod. And easy to install too. Also, someone added 18 more stadiums, just install overtop the Moddingway patch:

I'm wondering if this is a good year to buy FIFA for the PC and you guys are making me think it is...

If you've got the rig, it's worth it. Ariel's patch is awesome. Only downside is online. But I think that's the case with all PC games. It's a console world. But, IMO, the headroom with this title on PC is incredible. I thought that NBA2k had a great modding community, this one is better. :0

I only play career mode so online doesn't really matter for me.

Yeah, it's worth it. What is your rig? I'm running a 3770k with 16 GB of Ram and a GTX670 4GB card. I can max everything and have no hiccups.

Just ordered it from Amazon on PC download. I think comes through Origin, that's what it said for it's DRM settings. They had a 5 dollar credit, and some exclusive adidas content and historic kits. Ah, it unlocks the adidas all star team with Messi. I'm going to use the $5 toward NBA 2k14 on DVD. Good night for me!

My rig is a beast, so I'm not worried about that.

Well already played around 5-7 games at world class level. Always losing 1-0. The game is too difficult though it might be coz of manual controls. Was thinking of buying the game but now not sure. Though the game is nice still I feel that this year EA has made it much more difficult for us to break midfield n defense. The CPU AI is able to close down us but the same is not for us. If anyone can give some pointers then would be helpful

Something you need to remember is that this is the PC version of the game. Whatever issues you may, or may not have, is going to be fixed. When PC, there is NEVER a reason not to buy a title. The modding community is very strong, the sliders here are strong too - going hand in hand, you have potential to see what you want.

For what it's worth, the difficulty on both sides is extremely pleasant to read about. No more back and forth, end to end games when it's not warranted. I'm definitely excited for FIFA 14 - and this is coming from a guy who loves PES. We are very lucky, very lucky.

For this very reason I am debating on whether to play FIFA again on my low graphic laptop or buy it for PS3 and say the hell with the mods and AI edits. It's a definite graphical hit when you compare the two haha, but the gameplay on PC or laptop in my case is so good. The community editing made 13 a joy to play and with a much improved 14 I can only imagine what it will be like this year. It's a really tough decision for me.

So basically FIFA 14 (at least the demo)

1) Crappy goalies
2) Slow pace
3) Countless offsides
4) Forget about dribbling

I guess if you want to create a list of things you need to convince yourself not to like the demo, yeah sure, that's a pretty good list there. Or you could just play the demo and appreciate all the many things it does right.

I would have to agree with three. The offsides are a tad high for my taste. But as to everything else, I think this is EA's best effort to date.

WAY!!!!

Okay, getting the results I'm looking for now. Check out those PSG CPU foul, card, shot accuracy % and pass accuracy % totals:

Also, looks like FIFA stole a page from Madden with the addition of suction tackling this year, yecch. This has happened to me several times now: I boot the ball ahead to escape the defender, and as I push the R stick forward to run after the ball, my player is suddenly sucked sideways into a tackle animation. Check out the thumbnail, I'm BVB player Mkhitaryan #10:

Another major gameplay programming glitch... As you know EA added a bit of gameplay coding in FIFA 14 where the CPU will suddenly stop and turn back and forth and around in a circle a few times. Seems this was their attempt at coding in CPU possession football or something. Well I've noticed the CPU will do this at the completely wrong times, such as here on a clear breakaway. #92 El Shaarawy is the CPU ball carrier. Instead of continuing on towards the goal and shooting, he decides to make like a ballerina and perform a rather untimely pirouette, allowing my defender to catch up and poke the ball away:

This demo is simply the most fun I've had with FIFA ever, no hyperbole. The reason is because none of the AI emotional engine coding (fancy name for "CPU cheat boosts") is programmed into the demo. Just straight up fair and balanced gameplay from opening kickoff to final whistle. It's actually pretty nuts how much this means to me, but then maybe not given how nuts that coding has driven me over my years of playing this series.

15 minutes halfs, edits to improve fouls and general gameplay, stadium and team add-ons... just in football heaven here ATM. Oh and I found a db tweak to eliminate that El Shaarawy glitch I posted above... stops CPU players from spinning around with the ball like Swan Lake FC, and just get on with moving it up the pitch like manly men. Just finished this game, I'm Liverpool against CPU Bayer Lev:

You have to stop Yeats. I thoroughly enjoyed the demo and I'm anxious for the full release on PC but I haven't played the demo since last week because I got tired of being teased. You're...not...helping, lol.
