Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 Plans to Add Hundreds of Player Faces Throughout the Season

According to PES European Community Manager Adam Bhatti, PES 2014 will add hundreds (with a goal of close to 1,000) player faces throughout the season, via DLC after the game is released.

This is great news, but I am worried it will mess up option files midway through master league.

The answer for this is basically the answer for most questions about missing elements this year.

New engine.

Several things had to be redone from the last few iterations of the game. We should be celebrating the fact that they'll be adding faces to that level of detail throughout the life of the game, even though they do not ship with the game on day one.
