Check out the latest hi-res NBA 2K14 screenshots featuring NBA legends Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, Allen Iverson and Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon.
Bulls, Rockets, Cavs, and Raptors wear pink. The Wizard's unis were pink in 2K12, but are more red in 2K13, so that leads me to believe it IS fixable. The Knicks wear some weird shade of powder blue. Laker's purple is almost TOO purple. Needs a touch more blue in it. Here's hoping that all of this is fixed on PS4.
So is it safe to say 2k has an overall problem with colors in the game. Seems 2k13 has been one of the worse years as far as colors being far off from the real life versions. I went back to 2k12 last night and colors I use to have a problem with such as the reds of most teams, looked alot better to me now because of how bad they looked in 2k13.
Also players skin looked alot more realistic in 2k12 but thats another subject...
Lower your brightness on your TV, 2K boosted the brightness TOO much. Blacks are Dark Gray, Reds are pinks, Blues are powder blue. I don't understand the Knicks blue, they have it right on the 70s jerseys, but not the 90s or current jerseys.
What did the game engine do? Cause I recall if you see what colors in hex 2K has, when you see what it is, its I think close to the real color, but we have to use darker shades to make it better.

I played with the Rockets for awhile and actually adjusted the TINT on my tv to make them more reddish. Lol!
Isiah could dunk, he just rarely ever dunked in games. Laimbeer was also a guy who dunked all the time in layup drills and shoot around but who never/rarely ever dunked in games.
And if the 2k guys are watching this thread please remove Dumars dunking rating as I never saw him dunk. And also please fix Laimbeer's shooting base. I understand he didint jump high and you want his tippy toe animation but he actualy stepped into his shot and got off the floor a bit. You have it where he steps but never comes off the ground and his shot is easily blocked.
You know, that's always been something I've kind of wondered about actually. Is there any way a game can account for those super rare dunkers? The kind of guys who have countless opportunities to jam each year, yet only choose to go through with it once in a blue moon? It seems 2K has tried to make headway on that front with dunking tendencies, but it still tends to be all-or-nothingish; as in, if Isiah has a high enough attribute to dunk, he tends to do it too much. Yet, if his attribute is too low to dunk, we never see him dunk.
My feelings on the likes of Isiah Thomas and Chauncey Billups is 99 out of 100 times I attack the rim with them, they should be attempting a layup of some kind. But how do we get that rare dunk? Is it possible to get that result without overdoing it? I'm not so sure at this point.
You could always just code it so that dunks are only attempted 1 out of every X number of times once it falls below a certain tendency threshold even for open dunks, so that guys with a decent tendency will still dunk it in with no traffic-- because you don't want dunks so tied to tendency for capable dunkers that you have no control over when dunks go off.
So basically you could do something like:
Dunk Tendency 0-25: Rating affects dunk attempts by user regardless of how open.
Dunk Tendency 26-99: Rating applies only to dunk attempts in traffic.
Or you could have a new tendency called Open Court Dunks and apply the same threshold as above, so that the CPU uses the tendency directly but the user has control over whether to force an open court dunk or not except when the rating is below a certain threshold, and can only hope for a once in a blue moon dunk.
That dunk should give a Posterizer type momentum boost though just because of the rarity.
All I want to know about 2K14 is if all of the old Legendary teams are back, and if all of the Legends they took out have been added again (Kareem, Dr. J, C-Webb)
