EA Sports Season Ticket Exclusive to 360 & PS3, Does Not Transfer to Xbox One or PS4

We have just received confirmation from an EA Sports representative stating the EA Sports Season Ticket program is exclusive to Xbox 360 and PS3 titles, so it DOES NOT transfer over to a PS4 or Xbox One.

We have inquired about plans for next-gen and will update if we receive a response.

Well there you have it I will not be renewing my season ticket it expires in a week. I was going to use the seasonticket to help me figure out if I want current gen version or not because im not feeling the Demo. This is sad news

For this year, I'm not surprised. I'm sure it will be available on the next gen by next summer though.

Well, I'm glad they put that out there two days before my subscription ends. There's no point in renewing it now - I already know I'll be getting Madden on PS3 (because of an online CC I've already committed to) so there's not really any trial/rental period needed. And the other games in the EA Sports catalog aren't going to hold my interest on current gen once the PS4 is out.

Definitely want to hear what their plans are for next-gen - the program was a great help to me in deciding which games to get and which to pass on.

It covers Madden, NCAA, Tiger Woods, NHL, and FIFA.

I'm surprised at this move...even though it's not the same, but PS + and XGL both transfer over to next gen, so I assumed season ticket would be the same. We all know what happens when you assume though.

That's crazy. Everything else is carrying over. Maybe they're stopping the season pass thing all together.

Thanks for posting this. I was debating on whether or not to get this with Madden coming up, but I suppose I won't be getting it.

My season pass ends on the 24th. Does anybody know if I'll still be able to play Madden 25 even though I've downloaded it?

I'm sure the option will be back with next gen. It doesn't make sense for them to do this. I'd just let the subscription now run out on the current gen and then get it again for next gen. Unless of course you are going to wait a little while to get the next gen system. Then why not just renew now.

I dont quite understand what exactly this means are they saying you can pnly get sunday ticket by purchasing the 360 or ps3 versions pf the game? Because from what i understand is that it comes with a code you put in that gives you access to sinday tocket so what does the system really have to do with anything

I don't see how this is a surprise in the least. Did anyone really think they'd now have double the number of games available under Season Ticket with the purchase of a new console? I expect we'll see it reintroduced this time next year before the second round of next gen sports titles.

Haha, I just renewed on Saturday. Oh well I suppose I would have anyway. They should have allowed you to cancel on current gen and apply a prorated credit to next gen if they are indeed going to bring it out for next gen.
