Every day, through August 10th, members of the Madden NFL development team and community (Game Changers), will announce the All-25 team, which consists of the greatest video game athletes (at the height of their career) at each position.

Today they have announced free safety Sean Taylor (Washington Redskins) from Madden 06 with a 99 overall rating and strong safety Brian Dawkins (Philadelphia Eagles) from Madden 99 with an overall 99 rating.

Tomorrow the team will announce the cornerbacks. Who do you think it will be?

You may have a point, but he was a fantastic player with a fantastic career ahead of him. I think it's more about respect at this point

By respecting the death of one player is disrespecting the life and the career of another. Everyone deserves the same respect dead or alive.

True *** statement.......I loved watching Sean Taylor play and he had alot ahead of him but he should not be on the All-Madden team

Guys, its the All-Madden team, not All-NFL team, they are picking the most dominant players in Madden history, for example Michael Vick (Who is all but confirmed to be the QB)

I can only imagine how Redskin fans feel when that happens.
he was my favorite player at Miami and when he came in the NFL he showed he was the real deal

Can we put these players on the regular rosters ?

Respect aside, I would argue day and night Taylor was a more dominant player than John Lynch or anyone else being mentioned here.

Anyone that played with Taylor ON MADDEN knows how game changing he was. The hit-stick was made BECAUSE of Sean Taylor and he was virtually a lock to force a fumble at least once a game.

As far as Madden goes, I have no problem with him being one of the greatest safties in game history.

No disrespect to Taylor, but... How on earth is ED REED not on here? He has been the best safety in the league for 10 years or so. Sean Taylor was good and I hope is resting in peace, but he has no business being on this team

Did you ever play with him on a Madden game, Reed may have had a better career overall IRL compared to Taylor, but you don't mess with that level of speed, hit power and coverage ability

I concur. When used Taylor and flick that hit stick, it was insta-fumble. It was also easy to pick off my opponents as well. Guys would quit or disconnect glitch me.

He was a beast virtually and in reality.

Reed was a ball-hawk, no doubt, but Reed never came close to making opponents give up snot bubbles like Taylor did. Pull up footage and witness Reed attempting to make one armed tackles and leading with his one shoulder pad. He hardly wraps up on the tackles

Sean Taylor was basically a linebacker who has the ability to play any position in the secondary. He was special.

Was playing Madden 2002 last night, as the Iggles, Dawkins was only an 89 that year which I thought was kinda strange. And his other ratings were kind of weak too. Brock Marion of Miami was 92 that year.

But these are two fine choices. Taylor was the man and WEAPON X, nuff said. These two would have been one bad azz tandem. Nasty players.

I thought Taylor was the best S in the league his whole career and probaly has the hight overall avg.

That's the question can this team or these players be used in connected Francise, if not I don't see the point if all this effort went into play now.
